Prologue

Huff

The old man ran as fast as he could in his white lab coat, he didn’t really think that such a peaceful day would turn out to be one of the worst days -possibly the last day- in his life.

He was just chilling among the numerous tubes in his lab that contained test subjects from all around the land -that surprisingly had all kinds of species not missing one, he was apparently on a verge of a new discovery- but then all of a sudden, a woman broke in walking through the door of his lab.

Leather black clothes, Eyes that have turned into a pure gold color, looking like a furious sun with one of his guards in each hand after being beaten and slaughtered drowning in their own pools of blood.

“W-w-what are you? w-what do you want?” He stuttered, standing up and taking a few steps back in fear.

“Your worthless life” she answered nonchalantly, dropping the dead weight to make a statement, un-dusting her hands and taking a step forward.

“W- why? What have I done to you?!” He asked, unsure.

“You really want an answer to that?!” She frowned “I mean judging by where we stand right now... you should already know the answer” she said gesturing to the tubes surrounding them.

“Wait” his eyes widened in realization “I know you”.

“Oh... You do?!” she exclaimed.

“Y- Y- You’re her” his eyes went wider.

“Oh” she scoffed.

“Everyone talks about you.”

“They do?! then..." she started, taking another step forward, "I'll skip introductions then" she smirked.

“But why?" he gulped, "why are you here alone?!”

“I'm not obligated to answer you but” she took another step forward, “If you know me so well, you should know that I’m enough to bring this shithole upside down by myself, no?!” she was actually getting more and more raged during that whole conversation despite the sarcastic calm facade she was trying to hold.

“You can’t possibly-” he said with his back stuck to the wall.

“Doubting me?!” the golden fire that was only going out of her eyes, now started to surround her whole body slowly as she walked towards the center of the lab “watch then”.

“NOOO” the guy shouted as he saw her aura exploding, destroying everything yet releasing the test subjects from their tubes without hurting them.

“FLYNN” She shouted in pure anger and agitation as she recognized a kid in one of the numerous tubes, she ran towards him trying to save him, but his hands just fell out of hers, lifeless, she felt his pulse and it was no more.

“WHAT DID YOU DO TO THIS KID?!” she asked through gritted teeth.

“a failed experiment, I was going to-”

She cut him off as she finally allowed herself to lose control, she seemed close to the edge, her expression contorting into a snarl of venomous hatred and barely contained rage.

She stood up after laying the boy’s cold body down on the ground and moved towards the guy in calculated footsteps, blood lust oozing from her as her golden aura got stained with the color of blood.

The scientist ran as fast as he could, intimidated, He tried to get away from her as she chased him destroying everything within her sight.

She seemed to have a vendetta against everything, not just him, she hated everything about that place.

Busy with her own vendetta, she didn't notice the man eliciting some weird words under his breath and not long after, four huge soldiers appeared with their eyes and hands glowing just like hers but in different colors.

“YOU DARE?! YOU FILTHY MONSTER” she was angry, yet the scene managed to make her furious.

“Like my chimeras?!” the guy smirked suddenly getting more confident “it began with that little girl I got off an auction one day, you know”.

“A little girl, you say!” Her fists clenched along with her teeth the mention of the girl, throwing her more off the edge, trying helplessly to contain what's left of herself.

“Yeah, a little girl... If she wasn’t so stupid, I wouldn’t have known about your arrogant species, now look at my trophies" he started laughing wickedly like a maniac "I AM UNBEATABLE” he shouted.

“Arrogant? Unbeatable? You do realize who you’re talking to, right?” She scoffed.

“I do, but who cares? Once I’m done with you no one else can stop me.” he kept laughing.

“As if you can” she smirked, “then do you know where this girl now?”

“She probably fucking died or something when those assholes from your people attacked my other lab and destroyed it a few years ago” he let out a bitter chuckle “but what's important is that I saved the data anyways” He added, cocky and confident.

“Shame” she replied.

“Your arrogance knows no limits, let’s get down to business” signaling his chimeras.

“Bring it on” She smirked, cracking her neck.

“ATTACK” he shouted.

The chimeras rushed towards the now boiling ball of fire and blood.

She leaped forward, shredding the first one to the tiniest pieces with a big explosion, opening up her path.

With another leap, her fist rested in the second one’s core, releasing her aura into her fist making the chimera explode, then with a back kick to the face of the third chimera behind her, she made its head fly away.

finally, using the freshly fallen chimera's headless body, she made the last one fall to the ground with a strong kick, now standing over its body, she released the remaining of her aura towards her legs blasting it apart.

“You were saying?!” She said, while tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear with apparent confidence, not even breaking a sweat.

Within seconds everything turned into ashes with only the smallest pieces remained along with a headless chimera.

The man was horrified, all his years of work had turned into dust in front of his eyes. leaving him alone, defenseless and scared shit-less, shocked, he ran away aimlessly.

“You're not escaping me” she shouted but then she felt something sticky over her hands “ewwwww seriously he could’ve picked something better for a core ugh” she said cleaning her hands and walking in the same direction the guy disappeared into.

The man met a dead-end not short after, leaving him surrounded by three walls and a shadow closing in on him as he stumbled and fell backwards.

“s- stay a- away” he cowered in fear.

“Told you, you won't escape” she looked at him through her golden raged eyes.

“Please no .. Don’t kill me please” he begged.

“So now you beg? Where did your confidence go? and what are those?” She went forward, touching the transparent liquid falling from his eyes over his face, making him flinch.

“Tears? Are you fucking kidding me?!” She scoffed.

“Please don’t kill me, I beg you, I’ll do anything you want” the man begged through his tears.

“You mother-fuckin-monster have fucking feelings? Is this some sort of a bad joke?!” she exclaimed in disbelief.

“Spare me please” he kept begging, now on his knees.

“And did you spare that little girl when she begged you day and night as you kept cutting through her skin?” She held him by the collar, glaring, her eyes shooting daggers and her fists getting even thirstier for a taste of his blood.

“How did you-?!” he exclaimed.

And that was it...

with one swift move, her fist went through his heart making him puke blood.

“W- w- why?” The man coughed the word out with his blood.

“I was that little girl”.
