When the Sky Caught Fire

Hello! This is the Author. I wanted to give a little explanation to my story. It is currently under construction so any ideas are welcome. On my profile is a link to my e-mail, feel free to use it. I believe my Twitter is also connected.

My cover art is Shutterstock art. I am planning on taking my own pictures eventually, but as of right now that's what I have.

Note on Languages:

Foreign languages are done like This. The reason is that I want to give respect to each languages unique syntax and grammar. This includes the American Sign Language/Sisterland Sign Language mentioned in the book.

An example of ASL grammar is:

STORE, I-GO. Capital letters are called a gloss as there is no written version of ASL. The grammar of ASL is Subject, Object, Verb. So, in this case, Store=Subject, I=Object, and Go=Verb. This is very basic ASL grammar, it becomes more complex as you go. Due to this, that's why I chose to represent ASL like this.

A Note on Printing Presses:

They are extremely heavy machines. I went to an Archive to learn more about the machines and discovered that a team of students at the university archive had created an aluminum printing press. This will eventually become an aspect of my story. Right now I am editing my book again to make it more cohesive. This machine will make its way into my book and I'll give credit where it is due (the archive). As of right now, I won't disclose which one it is.

Note on characters:

I want to make them as human as possible. In far too many stories the hero or heroine is borderline perfect. If they have an abrasive personality, it's because there are people like that in real life.
