Greenwood Forest

Raven POV

Greenwood Forest is a place that you can walk through and feel peace and love. Probably the only place I can. On december 22 19 and a half years ago I was born. As I grew up I knew I was different and not in the good way. I loved snakes, thornes, and dangerous weapons. At the age 13 my parents passed away and I got in foster care, which sucked.

When I turned 18, I moved out, got a job, and found the perfect house on a hill in a beautiful town. I always started trying to find the most beautiful places on this big green earth. Greenwood Forest was one of those places to me. Calm and peaceful.

I have always yearned for love, but it was pointless. I am well....... me. So here I am now on the phone with my bestie, May.

"This is the last time I will ask. Do you want to go with me on my camping trip or not?" I ask impatiently.

"Yes I want to go. Wait. Can you bring that family box of cheese its? They were on sal-"

"Yes I got snacks are you coming?" I ask remembering I had grabbed them in the store after watching her look at them like 15,000 times.

"I said yes already why do you keep asking?" She says annoyed.

"Because I am in front of your house with everything, waiting for you to grab your duffel bag and fill it up with everything you need so we can go."

I heard her gasp then some ruffling noises in the background. "I'm coming cheese its!"

Her front door slams as I see her with her pink duffel bag and her hauling ass. I hang up the phone as she throws her bag in the back of the truck and hops in the passenger side, smiling.

"Ready to go?" I ask and she nods.

Let's get this show on the road.
