L'histoire du roman médiéval -fantastique Coronation : drark times . située sur les continents fictifs de welwitschia et Altaïr , entrelace quatre grandes intrigues. La première intrigue raconte l'histoire de félindra la fille d'un roi lion et de la future menace humaine ayant pour objectif d'agrandir leurs frontières afin d'y instaurer de nouveaux rois et ainsi asseoir leur suprématie sur les huit autres espèces bipède connus, comme ce fut le cas il y a mille ans de cela . La deuxième intrigue relate la démarche du roi gecko venant des montagnes arides d'Altaïr, un tout nouveau roi représentant d'une race de lézard ayant pour projet d'anéantir chaque être humain mais pour ce faire il devra convaincre les six autres rois présents sur le continent d'Altair... La troisième intrigue conte l'histoire des membres de plusieurs familles humaines de toutes classes sociales sur le continent de welwitschia, dans une guerre qui s'annonce inévitable. la discrimination, les enjeux et dangers du pouvoir politique , l'éducation, le terrorisme, les religions, l'avènement de nouvelles technologie et son impact sur les populations ainsi que sur l'environnement , La surpopulation et bien d'autres thèmes qui font aujourd'hui l'actualité.
