Chapter 1: Shuwa Iki
"Ah...we have a transfer student from Merashiko high joining us today please treat him well.." The teacher said in a rather dull voice. Under the sharp stare if all of the students in this class I spoke.
"My name is Shuwa Iki and I hope we all get along this year!" I said enthusiastically hoping they'd have a better impression of me. Instead, their expressions took a turn and became slightly fearful.
(Aw come on...my face isn't that scary is it?...)
Sighing I walked over and sat in the only empty seat settled directly in the back of the classroom. The students nearby seemed a bit nervous and slightly scooted away... Sighing once again I took a better look at the people in the classroom.
There were only three girls that really stood out among the crowd. The first was a slender girl with short ice blue hair and an energetic look about her. The second being a large breasted girl dressed in a Gothic Lolita style dress with long pitch-black hair and a peculiar glint in her violet eyes. The last was a relatively short girl with a beauty like that of an angel along with vivid purple and blue hair and eyes.
The teacher had just started his lesson on the history of Hanarai city and the day went on like any other...
When lunchtime came it was as if an old lady had come in and flashed the class; everyone had cleared out instantly.
(Ah...I have no clue where the cafeteria is..)
Sighing I noticed that the large breasted girl was still in the classroom just now rising from her seat. A bit timidly I walked over and asked her "Uhm is it okay if you could show me where the cafeteria is..?"
She took a quick look over me smiled and said "Sure come along with me" and then proceeded to walk away. I quickly followed after her smiling (it doesn't look like she's afraid of me yahoo!).
Soon we came upon the cafeteria and my eyes lit up seeing the liveliness inside. It was a beautifully decorated place with comfortable looking seats and it gave off a welcoming atmosphere but the best part was....all the different foods!!! Ramen, köfte, gyro, quesadillas, cheesecakes and so much much more!
I very nearly salivated at the mouth before I realized the girl staring at me and smiling with an amused look on her face.
I scratched the back of my head in an embarrassed manner and she said "The food is all free so no need to hold yourself back. Come on and eat lunch with me today."
I smiled wide and went over with her to pick out my meal for the day. As soon as my hand reached out to grab a tray a loud voice came yelling at me.
"Hey, bitch! What do you think you're doing with our Hime-sama huh!?"
Displeased I turned to the voice only to see a large guy with pronounced muscles wearing a headband sporting 'Hime-sama!' on it.
(Wtf...)
"Listen...your 'Hime-sama' invited me to lunch and I'd like to eat so please just leave me alone" I said.
"The fuck you say!? If you don't stay away from Hime-sama from now on I'll make your life a living hell!!"
By now I noticed a circle slowly forming around us all of them wearing some sort of garment with 'Hime-sama' on it.
(Clearly, they don't plan on letting me off easy anyway..)
I fully turned to him and glared a slight smile appearing on my face. "If you think you can make then I'll be happy to heed your request bastard." His expression took a turn for the worst and he yelled.
"Get this fucking bitch!!"
A multitude of people came rushing in from all directions with ugly looks on their faces. I slipped past a fist aimed at my face and returned one landing cleanly and knocking him back into someone else.
Quickly I squatted down and tripped another guy finishing him with a fast fist smash to the face.
The one who stopped me was standing by watching as I beat up his lackeys. I felt something strange and suddenly dodged to the left. An ice beam streamed straight past where my head just was.
Smiling maniacally I laughed. "So we're going to play that game huh?" A bright orange flame appeared on my fists and I blew away the next person to come running at me.
"I'm getting bored with this so let's just finish it..." Multiple fire lightning ice etc. attacks came flying at me in that moment.
Dodging them all the flames on my hands became increasingly resplendent and I spread one of my hands out.
"Burn."
Standing on one foot with my toes I used my other hand as a thruster making me spin as my spread hand blast out a hot flame blowing back and burning the enemies around me. Sighing and leaving them to writhe on the floor I got my food and sat down with the already seated large breasted girl.
She chuckled and looked at me with slightly narrowed eyes.
"Your quite good Shuwa my name is Kuroneko Shimizu the student council president of this Nigatani High School."
I had an expression of understanding at that moment
"So that's why I was attacked just by being with you you've got fans! Pretty impressive position there".
"You're the impressive one Shuwa and you didn't even get serious did you? I've recognized your skill so how about this..you could join the School Wars."
"Huh..I've heard the term before but what exactly are they?" I asked.
My old school Merashiko also participated in the School Wars.
"I could explain to you but there are people much more suited to that than I am. I'll direct you to them later but for now..let's enjoy our meal shall we?" She said smiling.
I smiled and noticed that the girl with the purple and blue hair was staring at me. As soon as our gazes locked she turned away in a panic.
(What's her deal?)
Soon the school day was over and rumors about me and the 'Princess of the Night' Kuroneko had spread across the school. Things sure do get around fast...
I gathered up my things and walked away from the school to my home.
As I was walking I noticed the blue-haired girl standing outside of an ice cream shop looking inside longingly.
I felt a bit bad for her so I went over and tapped her shoulder.
"Hey, you just gonna stare and not go inside?"
She startled jumped back a bit and stared at me "Ah Shuwa don't scare me like that!" She said with a slight blush.
"You don't have any money?"
"Ggh!? O-of course I do I'm just standing out here trying to decide what I want..."
I sighed and patted her should handing her some money at the same time. "It's okay to admit it."
"You're too kind" she said tearing up a little bit with a grateful expression on her cute face.
Just as I was about to leave satisfied at my job well done she called out my name.
"Shuwa! My name is Imari! Thank you!" After that, she happily stepped into the store.
I smiled and continued my walk home. Meeting two pretty girls on my first day there? I consider this a good end to my day. A good one indeed.
