Here are some poems that I wrote during the quarantine period here in Cebu due to the COVID-19 threat. If you will ever find this collection and have the curiosity to at least read some pages, then know that you are welcome to have a glimpse of my mind—my thoughts. I've been thinking a lot of things recently, may it something good or something that is not socially acceptable, and the only way to sort some things out is to write them down. Given the situation, obviously, I have lots of time on my hands to make this collection. Also, keep in mind that these poems are not in thematic order, because whatever I think, I write. I hope you find some of these relatable at some point and might inspire you in a way or two. Have fun reading!
Tonight, I can tell, is differently satisfying
Plutonian bath felt godly good; it’s cleansing
Movies in solitude, thinking things wildly
Assuming roles of characters; isn’t it silly?
Seclusion might be lonesome for others
The Fear, oh fear, can drain all your colours
But for my heart, my soul - not anymore
As it calms my being like never before.
