"Hi my name is Tessa and right now I was on my way to work. when this JACK ASS sped up to get in front of me and almost took my whole side mirror off. I know right like why do some people even have a drivers license"

"Fuck off lady!"

I can believe this guy is talking to me like I'm the one in the wrong. But I couldn't be bothered with this ass hole. I have to get to work before I'm late again and I don't have the type of boss that understands.

*buzz*

"Hey guys sorry I'm late. This guy almost hit and then he had the nerve to tell me to fuck off."

When suddenly my best friend chris and coworker told me that my boss was coming from her office. ( I work at a book publishing company) Then I rushed to my desk and sat down and acted as though I had been sitting there the entire time. She came up to me and said " proof read these books for mem. And I want them on my desk first thing in the morning." And walked back to her office.

Then me and chris released a sigh of relief. Chris looked at me and said," Now what was it you we're saying about why you're late this time", With a disappointed look on his face.

" I was saying that I was almost killed by an idiot but hey that was probably my fault Too". I told him with a agitated tone in my voice. I guess he felt bad for being such a jerk because he looked at me with concern in his eyes and said, "we should go out tonight. We haven't been out in ages".

"I just look at him and said I have work to do", while pointing at the stack my "lovely boss" lucy put on my desk. "And plus I have a date with the tv tonight". I said with a smirk on my face. But Chris just wasn't taking no for answer so he looked at me and said, " great I'll pick you up at 9 o'clock sharp". I continued to try and argue my way out of going out. But he just walked over to his desk and began typing on the computer. As though he didn't even here back word I was saying.

So instead of going on with reasons why I shouldn't go out tonight, I just let out a sigh of anonymous and proceeded to proof the stack of books that were on my desk.

Today was a long day and it was coming to a end. I was so happy that I was off. I couldn't wait to go home and sleep it off but just as soon as I was beginning to pack up and go home. I was rudely reminded by Chris that I would be going out tonight. And the smile on my face instantly faded away. But I guess to Chris this was amusing be cause he couldn't stop laughing at my faceual expression. And said " don't be so down tessa. Think of it this way at least you wouldn't have to be at home by yourself". I just looked him and said " I like being at home by myself because it's quiter that way".

And so I walk outside but only I was no longer happy because I was being forced to go out. But I couldn't keep standing out here so I got into my 2020 blue Honda drove home.
