What is your opinion?

The prince

"I like the plot and characters. The setting also great as rather than stop and describe you let the characters interact and state it. I recommend this to teenagers in their 20s and 30. "

Short but exciting

"The Prince was an exciting read. I enjoyed the spoiled bratty protagonist and his drastic change through out the story. The world building was well though out and clear. The author did a great job painting a picture for the reader without having a map. I liked the connection to real life leaders. I thought that was cleverly done. The battle scenes were a bit drawn out but very detailed. I suggest cutting the battle short or creating more personal conflict inside the war with the protagonist. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I definitely want to find out want happens in the second part! "

Engaging

"The story was gripping. The story flowed from one sentence to another that I did not even realize how much and how long I had been reading. There were run-on sentences in which the author used commas instead of semi-colons, but the meaning of the sentence was not lost. All in all, I enjoyed this story. It's a shame that it only had 13 chapters. If "The Prince" ever gets a continuation and gets published, I would definitely buy a copy. Kudos!"

Battle Fic

"Though only 13 chapters, this story had it all: a spoiled prince who has to face a hard future and grow into a hero, a wise councilor who won't give up on him, a fierce warlord to train him and lead his army, a mysterious lady spy, and a younger rival who is yards ahead of where the main character needs to be. All these elements were skillfully woven into a story that kept my interest to the last word. As a personal aside, I could have used a little less of the battle scenes, but they were well written and showed the overwhelming odds and otherworldly character of the foe the prince is facing. I hope the writer will continue this story as it has great possibilities."
