Chapter 1

It's been 4 years since the Volturi, as her mother called them, to the abandoned field and threatened to kill my family...Her mom, dad, and Jacob. She felt that they will always look like beasts to her for that. They will always look like a hairy beasts to me for that. They were completely ready to kill off one of the only vegetarian, and peaceful covens of vampires...all because they felt threatened by us. It made my blood boil like a pot of water on a stove...well she supposed you can't tell since my skin is naturally warm on its own..but I hate them. After the “almost” battle, her dad told her Aro wanted the werewolves to become part of his guard, She can't stand the thought of it. Her Jacob, acting as a guard dog? That's just awful. And she knows Jacob would rather die than be a part of anything that even slightly relates to the adversary, Volturi. Rosalie is so excited though, Jacob had to go spend some time with his dad last week, so we haven’t seen each other in a while, but he will be here in just a couple minutes. I honestly can’t wait. Waiting is very hard and boring for me, just sitting there like a bump on a log. So she got up off the couch and went to the kitchen to get a drink. As the water was being drunk by her, she noticed Alice and Jasper. Alice looked up when she heard me walk in and smiled “Hey Ness, you want to go shopping with me today?”

Jasper laughed, “I hardly think she would want to, the mutts coming by, remember? I hate it when he calls him that.

”Uncle Jasper!”

He laughed again. “Sorry Renesmee, old habits die hard.”I giggled at the face he made when he said that. It’s hard to ask for them to always be nice to Jacob, I understand the tension between werewolves and vampires. They don’t mix at all...they have such a distinct smell that I can’t identify.”

“ I’ll go with you tomorrow Alice” I said only slightly regretting the choice, only Rosalie tolerates going shopping with her anymore and that's only because she can't go a week without a new outfit and Alice always knows when Rose will go so she figures out a way to go as well. So Rosalie skips the fighting and just goes with Alice..it’s much more peaceful, All of a sudden Alice brightened up, “Finally someone will go shopping voluntarily, have fun with the mutt, I mean Jacob, Nessie.” With that she danced out of the room pulling Jasper with her. I sat down at the counter for a few moments. I couldn’t bear waiting much longer. That’s when Rosalie heard it , Jacob’s vociferous motorcycle. He was here! He was here for me! (Every day, every night, every moment he has been on my mind.) Now he is finally here. He looked the same. His hair was shining like the stars and darker than the night. Tall and handsome is just how he looked before he left. She ran to the door and almost slid trying to stop to open it. As she ran outside, there he was, my Jacob.

He looked up and smiled “ We are going hunting tonight.”Rose groaned, she knows everyone wanted her to hunt but animal blood is not as good as drinking the blood Carlisle stored in the house, animals kind of tasted like grass.
