Chapter 1
You would think that the sun would rise on
a Sunday morning at Sunshine Hill, but it
didn't. Actually, it never does. Days, months,
and years passed, yet the gloominess of my
small town never changed. As I entered my
place if work, the police station, I felt the
forceful scent of caffeine plug my nose. "
Good morning Sindey", I greeted my co-
worker, "Well, I wouldn't call it a 'good
morning', she shot back in a cranky tone.
"Ouch, someone is obviously having an awful
start if the day", a person commented.
"Ya, who hurt you?", someone questioned.
"Could you all stop the chit-chat!", the chief
officer said, walking to the front office. It
became silent, dead silent. Chief Jones
would often release this hostle energy,
which is why he is frequently viewed as
problematic. The office has even given him
a code name 'The Vibe Killer'. He earned
this title, because he is well known for
bringing down a positive mood.
