I just finished reading your story Boys of Suburbia and I loved it so much. Your writing is raw, emotionally layered, and captures the chaos and yearning of adolescence in such a compelling way.
I really loved the opening scene in Chapter 1, where Sebastian Faze, the "ordinary and boring" boy, meets Niko Salinger, the reckless and enigmatic figure. The contrast between their worlds, Sebastian's mundane suburban life and Niko's self-destructive tendencies, sets the stage for a visually dynamic narrative. This juxtaposition would translate beautifully into a comic, with panels highlighting their differences and the magnetic pull between them.
Another moment that stood out was the scene in Chapter 20, where the boys share a quiet, introspective moment amidst the chaos of their lives. The subtle emotions conveyed in this scene, paired with the backdrop of their suburban setting, would make for a poignant comic panel, capturing the essence of their bond and the complexities of their relationship.
I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d love to draw Boys of Suburbia as a comic or manga. No pressure though, I just think your story would resonate deeply in visual form.
