Prologue
Getting married at twenty five was not what Kanishk had in mind nor was he ready on getting married to someone like Siya Diwan.
Siya was brain with beauty and the CEO of Diwan Enterprises. Having achieved the fame at this early age there were many proposals for her, which made her father protective of his daughter. That’s when he saw Kanishk, the businessman interacting with his daughter and that was enough for him to decide then and there that he was the one.
Kanishk Kapoor will be the man to marry his daughter.
It was the same day Siya’s father talked with Kanishk’s parents about his proposal and his parents were delighted at the news. Getting a daughter-in-law like Siya was the happiest thing and they were happier about the news.
Kanishk was a little startled at first about the proposal when he heard it from his parents but later on agreed when he was emotionally blackmailed by his mother.
That’s her weapon to make me do everything she wants, he thought.
Siya was shocked but she had expected something like that from her parents, especially her father and when she was told about the proposal she was not so shocked, she accepted it.
Kanishk and Siya had met a few times during some business parties and even interacted with each other at sometime. So it wasn’t like they were strangers to each other and they thought it was a relief that they were marrying someone they already know not some complete stranger.
My life is always full of surprises, Siya had thought.
And that’s exactly what happened, they were married within the next month or so.
