" This review pertains to the first three chapters only. Meet Violet. Beautiful, popular, surrounded by friends and supported by teachers, life has always been rather easy for her. And perhaps that right there provides some unexpressed yearnings from Violet. Is there some boredom underneath her seemingly perfect life? Perhaps some secret deep desire to see what it would be like to be the bad girl for a change? Eli, a handsome eighteen year old seems to pick up on Violet’s suppressed desires. He is an intense psychopath who unabashedly portrays himself as evil. (This becomes very obvious when Eli straddles the corpse of the dead high school principal.) Can Violet resist this wicked but oh so attractive boy, and what he means to her reputation and possible sanity? I admit I love these type of wicked stories. There’s sort of a nice Cruel Intentions vibes here. This is the perfect book to enjoy with a soft comfortable chair and a whole box of chocolates that you’re not willing to share. Quite a fun read. "

"I'm three chapters in and the first chapter straight away dove into the novel without a proper introduction to the story's setting, which in turn did not build up enough suspense for the last part. Some of the character's reactions didn't make sense, especially after the main character discovered a *ahem* (not gonna tell, it's a spoiler) or I don't know, it may be a manifestation of being a sociopath since you did mention she is evil. Also with other scenes: when Violet "panicked" because Elijah brought her to a club, remember show panic rather than tell the audience so we'd also panic with her. Show emotions, tell feelings. I do believe that any story has the potential to become great with the proper execution of writing and you have the potential. Continue to write, your writing style is already better than some I've seen. "
