"I love how the author goes in-depth to the person's feelings, I love friendship, bonding, and girl power! Dicarius and Vienna overcame the silence and the fight, I like how the POV's switch, it was funny, filled with action and romance. I liked the connection between their eye colors like the sea and the storm. I finished the book so quickly and I'm eagerly awaiting more."

"I liked the different POVs, it provides different perspectives and changes things up. The author provies more details in the characters’ inner thoughts and feelings as apposed to the physical environment (i.e. geography, fashion, architecture. etc.) - which is a nice change. I enjoyed getting to know the characters (sometimes you root and cry for them, other times you just want to slap some sense into them 😂). I appreciate the action, comedy, drama, suspense and romance. The plot can feel a little dragged out but I didn’t mind it. Overall grammar was good too. Btw, I’m glad sign language and lip reading was incorporated into the story Some stories have their characters write on a notebook/cellphone which doesn’t make any sense! Overall a good read. I look forward to the author’s future work! 😊"

Intriguing plot and well thought out characters
"It was especially interesting to have a lead character who is an elective mute, this then gave the author the opportunity to bring in the use of sign and lip reading which gave the book an inclusive feeling that is often missing. The plot and the characters are well developed and the intrigue and suspense is carefully built chapter by chapter leaving the reader to build their own images and ideas of where it might be leading. I liked the main character's name and the link to the song although in my head it's always UltraVox singing it! There are some grammatical errors and minor spelling mistakes, but that's a common problem we all face, after reading and re-reading a great number of times I find my eye slides over them in my own work and it's not until someone else has a check for me that they get spotted! The book would definitely appeal to a YA audience, my daughter who is 20 also read it and reported that she was intrigued and kept interested all the way through. (Two reviews in one!)"
