A Wider View
A boy was treading on a day very fine,
The luminous Sun made everything shine
When suddenly he saw an elongated line
In front of a shop that sold wine.
He thought in his deepest thoughts
While wine and liquor are bought
By these men who have money a lot,
Why his parents and he himself fought
To get a square meal daily
And fill their empty bellies.
His mind cluttered with thoughts alike,
While the landlord's son has a costly bike,
Why he has to walk kilometers and miles
Collecting garbage piles.
He shouted with his voice high
Without at all being shy:
Is this equality which is mentioned
In the world's longest constitution?
Are poor always supposed to
Fight as they presently do?
Don't we breathe just as you?
Doesn't our blood have a similar hue?
If you think you will continue this rule
You are to be the greatest fool.
Your home can have A.C
But our heart has will
You can have money
But we have a heart full of zeal.
So, whatever be your earning,
This is an open warning:
'Even the smallest match with the slightest fire
Can burn an empire'
