Third person's POV

Lisa looked at the clock as she was serving breakfast. It was 07:50am and school started at 08:00am. She had to show the new kids around today. A new family was joining the pack and she was put on tour guide duty. She was going to be late and she knew she would pay for it later.

"Lisa what are you still doing here school starts in 10 minutes" Jane hisses.

"I know I know. He made sure I stayed behind" Lisa says referring to her father. Alpha Cole Vanderpump. Lisa wanted to mention that he woke her up with her beating but she was forbidden to ever tell Jane that he beat her.

"Go to school Lisa" Jane instructs.

"But" Lisa attempted to protest but Jane wasn't having any of it. "Get to school Lisa, now"

Lisa nods and grabs her backpack and looks around to see if her father would notice her leaving for school but he was busy talking to Beta Smith. She winced at the pain of her ribs. She made a run for it but ran straight into Luna Zelena, her mother, making her spill coffee all over herself.

"Why you little bitch" Zelena snarls at Lisa grabs her by her hair and pulls her outside.

"Do you see what you've made me do" She snarls at Lisa and slaps her. "For-for-g-gi-v-v-e me Luna" Lisa pleads trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill from her eyes. She never wanted to give Zelena the satisfaction of knowing she could make her cry.

Zelena slaps Lisa again. "You're father is gonna hear about this and you'll be very sorry, you little imbecile" Zelena hisses and shoves Lisa and she falls down.

She winced at the impact of her fall. Her ribs were already aching from the beating her father had given her.

Lisa knew she was late. Lisa's body was on fire. Her cheeks sting. Her ribs were on fire. She may have broken a few.

Despite her aching body. Lisa ran to school. She ran. Her lungs were on fire and she felt like her body was gonna give out soon but she pressed.

When the school came into view. She stopped and took a deep breath and started to walk towards, Anna and five different faces she didn't recognize.

Her walk was wobbly and she felt like she would fall down if she didn't stop.

She leaned against a wall and took a deep breaths. It wasn't helping. Her vision was blurry, she sank to the floor. Her hands balled up into fists. Her nails digging into her skin. She did this when she was trying to focus on one thing. Tears were now running down her face. "Anna" she managed to croak out. Everything was spinning. Lisa knew what was happening. She was having a panic attack. This happened to her the first time Vanderpump had beat her.

"Anna" she croaked out a bit loudly this time. Catching the attention of Anna, Abby,Jena, Jake, Lena and Xavier.

"Lisa" Anna rushes to her side. "What's happening to her" Jake demanded to know.

"Lisa breathe" Anna encourages. "I'm trying" Lisa manages to croak out.

"Let's take her to the nurses office" Jena suggests. Lisa's vision was blurry she started to see black dots and everything went black.

She collapsed but Anna caught her before she hit the ground.

"They won't help her" Anna tells them and Jake growls.

"Let's get her to my car, Mom will know what to do." Lena suggests and Jake scoops Lisa up into his arms effortlessly and they put her into Lena's car. Jake didn't understand why he felt so much for this strange girl. He was mated and marked to his mate Lena. The feelings he felt for the girl weren't romantic at all.

Lena along with Jake and Lisa sped off to in Lena's car to their private house. Jena, Abby, Anna and Xavier following them.

"Mom!" Lena yelled as she pulled over. Jake rushing to Lisa's side and get her out.

Teddi rushed outside. "What's happening" she asks taking in Lisa's frail body in Jake's arms.

"She fainted, at first I think she was having a panic attack and then she just collapsed. We couldn't take her to the nurses office because for some reason they won't help her. Anna will explain everything when she and the others get here." Jake explains quickly.

"Let's get her inside." Teddi says quickly.

"Put her on the couch" Teddi instructs and Jake obliges. He couldn't understand why he was no nervous. Lena felt connected to this girl in a way she didn't understand. She knew Jake felt it too. She was just confused as to why they felt this immense connection. Lena had felt it towards Anna too.

Jena, Xavier, Abby and Anna entered the house.

"Is she okay" Anna asks anxiously.

Teddi observes Lisa. "She's got three broken ribs. A lot of old and new bruises. A fractured wrist. I can sense her wolf but it's not awake in her. The power i am sensing from her. It makes me what to show my neck to her." Teddi explains.

"The ways these bruises look. They could be from earlier today, some yesterday, some look a week old. The scars on her body. Could be from years ago." Teddi explains. Jake just felt rage as he was listening to this.

"I've rubbed some ointment on her bruises. I'll wrap her wrist with some bandage. To make sure it heals correctly" Teddi tells them and moves to get the bandage.

"Jacob, do you feel some connection to her" Teddi asks curiously.

"Yes, I do. Looking at her like this makes me so angry. It makes my wolf angry" Jake confesses.

"I think it's her Jake, i think she's the one you've been searching for since you've learned of the prophecy" Teddi confesses.

"Hey Anna why are you crying" Lena asks in concerned, deciding to keep the news of her feeling a connection towards Lisa to herself.

"I knew it, i knew he was hitting her but I didn't say anything because she didn't say anything. I should've said something I thought she would tell me we tell each other everything." Anna cries out.

"Whose been hitting her?" Jake growls. "Jake calm down" Lena pleads.

"Her father, Alpha Vanderpump. He's always been indifferent towards Lisa but when she turned sixteen and didn't shift. He made it clear to the whole pack that he was indifferent towards her. Called her an abomination. The whole pack has been mistreating her ever since. He made her the lowest ranking wolf in the pack" Anna explains.

"I knew this pack was freaky" Xavier repeats his statement from earlier.

"You should all go back to school. I'll take care of Lisa." Teddi instructs and Jake growls at this. "I'm not leaving" he says.

"Neither am I" Lena says moving to stand next to Jay.

"I'm also not leaving, Lisa doesn't know y'all. I want to be here when she wakes up." Anna says and walks to stand next to Jake and Lena.

"I'm also not going anywhere" Jena says, she didn't want to go to school. She didn't even want to come to this pack in the first place.

Teddi glares at all of them but she knew better than to argue with them when they've all made up their mind.

They all take sits around Lisa. They sat down in a comfortable silence.

****** 6 hours later******

"What did you mean when you said she's the one he's been searching for?" Anna asks and points at Jake.

Teddi and the others look at each panicked not knowing what to say. The prophecy was a sacred thing that was kept private for obvious reasons it being sacred. Anna was basically a stranger to them. They were an elite group of young supernaturals who were here to investigate this pack by the order of the high council. They didn't know if they could trust Anna.

Lisa stired in her sleeping position. Anna's attention immediately shifted to her. Lisa opened her eyes and she saw 6 faces looking at her, her heart started beating faster and she fainted.

"What just happened?" Lena asks concerned.

"I think all of us looking at her like that scared her and she fainted" Teddi explains.

"Is she okay?" Jake asks his wolf on edge.

"Yes she is her body just needs to rest. We've been sitting around her for six hours let's get some food" Teddi suggests and they all move to the kitchen.

Teddi warms up food from the previous night and they eat.

"Anna you look awfully familiar, who did you say your mom is again?" Teddi asks curiously.

"I didn't say who my mom is but my mom is Jane Green" Anna says and Teddi stiffens at the name.

"I don't know her, maybe it's your father I know" Teddi lies.

"That's nice, I don't know him" Anna says and drops her fork onto her plate, losing her appetite.

The tension in the room thickens but dissolves as fast as it came when they are all distracted by Lisa yelling in her sleeping.

"Must kill them all

Must kill them all!" She keeps yelling and they all rush to her side.

She keeps quiet for a few seconds and starts whimpering.

"Please don't hurt me daddy please don't hurt me " She keeps mumbling and whimpering.

Jacob touches her shoulder attempting to calm her down and her eyes shot open. Her green iris long gone replaced by a gold one with strikes of red around her black pupil.

She let's out an agonizing scream her bones making cracking sounds.

"What's happening?" the twins ask in unison.

"She's shifting get her outside" Teddi says and Jake scoops her up effortlessly and runs outside.
