"I enjoyed this story immensely but feel the ending was too sudden. The gap between Chapter 18 and the Epilogue was too wide for me. A Chapter 19 telling how the meeting with the parents, dealing with the law, dealing with the money issue etc would have been fun. Enhancing my enjoyment is the fact that I am an Australian and a sailor - well done on both counts."

" As a target reader, I feel left out of the loop, Australians have such a compelling locale and strong cultural ideosyncracies to be exploited. Author writes so well that her basic storyline was completely top notch, a good reader is going to fill in the missing details, and hope for more very soon. I will definitely be exploring Rowan Hill's other books! "

"Thank you for posting this story. I am always looking for thrillers set on the open ocean, in beautiful locales, where I can feel the sun glistening off the water. This book was well written. The dialogue was realistic. I felt as though I understood the characters' motivations. I wouldn't mind seeing more development in the villains. Aaron Sorkin, the creator of West Wing and A Few Good Men, says that all characters should be making their plea with God as to why they should get into heaven. Even the bad guys should have an argument for why they should be saved. I would have liked to feel more engaged by these characters. Often what takes a book from being good to great is the depth of character of the villains. It was nice on this cold day to be able to escape into the warm, blue ocean for a spell. I look forward to reading more stories by this author."
