From the Future

"What do ya think old dumbles's news is?"Said a certain Sirius Black. He had long black hair that was almost shoulders length and piercing silver eyes.

"There are 3 things wrong with that sentence Sirius." Said Remus Lupin. He had sandy coloured hair that fringed into his eyes, which were a light brown. He also happened to be a werewolf. "Firstly," he continued "don't call our headmaster old dumbles! Show some respect! Secondly, Dumbledore's information could anything, weather we expect it or not. And my third statement goes along with the second…. HOW THE BLOODY HELL SHOULD I KNOW!"

"Now, now Remus. It wouldn't happen to be near your 'time of the month' now would it?" asked James Potter with what he thought to be an innocent face. He had a mop of jet black hair that would never lay flat and hazel eyes. A snicker came from somewhere behind him. This boy was named Peter Pettigrew and he had blond hair and watery blue eyes. Together, these 4 boys made up the Marauders, and they specialized in pranking.

Remus glared at him. "Shut up James. You're making me seem like a girl."

"No, you do that all on your own" muttered Sirius, who was looking down and trying not to move his mouth much. Just as Remus, who was the only one who had heard, was about to retort, Lily, talking offence to that comment, decided to intervene.

"You say that like it's a bad thing Remus." She said dangerously. "If you want, I can actually change you into a girl." She finished, fingering her wand.

Remus was just about to try to insist that he had not meant his comment earlier, when the headmaster stood and silence fell throughout the great hall.

"I suppose you are all wondering why I called you all up here tonight. We are going to receiving 6 guests from the future. They will be bringing along 7 books about the future that the following students will get the privilege to read with them. These students are:

James Potter

Lily Evans

Sirius Black

Remus Lupin

Peter Pettigrew

Frank Longbottom

Alice Fortescue

Severus Snape

Albus Dumbledore

Minerva McGonagall

The guest will be arriving shortly." Almost as soon as he was finished talking, there was a flash of blinding white light. The light lingered for only a moment, and then it started to dim. Soon people could make out the outline of 6 figures. 3 males and 3 females emerged from the white light. No sooner had the light gone, the figures found every single wand in the room pointed at them.

One of the males, dark hair and a roundish face, raised his hands up in mock- surrender. " Before you attempt to attack us, I think we should be allowed to explain and introduce ourselves….So just lower your wands, and we will not attack." said the boy. Slowly, headmaster Dumbledore motioned for the others to lower their wands.

The boy than stepped-back, and motioned forward a girl with bushy brown hair. The girl stepped up confidently, then, in a clear voice, she said "Hello, my name is Hermione Granger. We are from the year 2000." Murmurs of shock and intrigue went throughout the crowd. She continued as if nothing had happened. "All of us are trained aurors, and are 20 years old. We live in a world where Voldemort is dead. We all took part in his destruction. These books," She pulled 7 books out of her small beaded handbag. "Is about what goes on in our future." She continued "Now as I said before, my name is Hermione Granger." She stepped-back and the round faced boy stepped-up again. "My name is Neville Longbottom. Son of Frank and Alice Longbottom." He stepped-back and a boy with white-blond hair stepped-up. "My name is Draco Malfoy. Son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy." Draco stepped back as a blond haired girl stepped up and said "My name is Luna Lovegood. Daughter of Xenophilius and Selene Lovegood." As she stepped-back, the last 2 figures stepped-up. They could have been brother and sister for all they knew. They both had flaming red hair so many freckles they could have been tan. "My name is Ginevra Weasley, but I go by Ginny. Call me Ginevra and I will flay you alive. Daughter of Arthur and Molly Weasley." Said the girl. Finally the boy introduced himself. "My name is Ronald Weasley, but you can call me Ron. Son of Arthur and Molly Weasley. Oh, and just so you know, my sister wasn't kidding when she said she'd flay you alive if you called her by her real name." Ron grinned and his sister glared at him. " Soooo…." He said, over dramatically. "Would the students listed before please follow us to the Room of Requirement."

They were now all sitting inside the Room of Requirement, all introduced and explained, waiting to start reading.

"Well, now that we are all ready," said Draco "Any questions or concerns before we begin?" he asked.

Sirius's hand shot up from the circle of friends. " About your arrival….. That was bloody brilliant!"
