Summary

This is a small collection of my poetries. I have jist recently started writing and a lot of my friends have told me that what I write has potential but like anyone else, I also doubt myself so I'd like to know what you guys think. Please do give it a read, they are really short so it won't waste too much of your time

FLAWLESS

Are they beautiful if they have flaws

Overlookthe thorns, and the rose receives your applause.

The dark night often enhnaces the moon's glory

But look at it's own dark spots, and it becomes a different story

So bright, so dazzling, truly a diamond is nice

The shine diasappears, and it becomes a stone definitely not worth the price

Are they beautiful if they are flawless

Bound by nothing, their beauty is lawless

Fake, shallow, a lie they are

Privileged not pretty, they don't even have a scar

Desperately chasing perfection, no offense you look like a doll

After all a beauty that cannot be criticised is no beauty at all

Abandoned it all, somwhere in their own exile

They were reading this with a knowing smile
