Chapter 1|The beginning

Silence.

It was one of the two things you could use to describe what was going on in Sorra's mind.

The other one was chaos or sadness.

Having a meteor heading to your planet wasn't something to joke around about. It was something very worrying and dangerous.

Seeing the meteor come closer was scary.

Because Sorra knew what she could possibly lose..

Her family,

friends,

pets,

teachers,

classmates,

to put it simple; Sorra would lose her loved ones, her life.

A scary thought indeed.

But still a thought that needed to be thought, even if it was painful to go through the path that is called understanding.

Wishing that you could turn back time or not even experience this was not useful.

Having a party about this being the last day alive wasn't either, but... Well whatever.

Yeah, you heard that right. Sorra's school was having a last day alive party. Everyone was inside, dancing and screaming like it was their last day. Drinking until everything was gone and forever was nulled. And for some of them, it actually was the end.

But Sorra wasn't. She was sitting on the rooftop of the school, staring at nature's beauty that was going to destroy them all. She watched as the meteor got bigger by the minute, begging it to stop and turn around. It may have been useless, but it was the only thing she could do with the power she had.

Sorra wasn't the only one who was doing this. In fact, there were more teachers and students who were staring at the meteor than there were people partying their worries away. Some in classrooms and others in their own distinct place.

Sorra sighed. She didn't want to spend her last few hours as a single person. Yes, Sorra was more worried about having been single her whole life than the damned meteor actually killing her, crazy right? And I know you may be thinking, what the hell was that shit before then? Yeahhhh, no that was just some sensitive stuffs to get you invested into this story. I'm such a great writer!

Moving on!

Sorra stood up and started heading inside. Just as she wanted to open the door, she got hit by a strong force. It forced her onto the ground. The air got more and more toxic to the point you could feel it was not good to breathe it. In the end, Sorra fainted due to not being able to breathe.

''We'll see each other on the other side.''
