01 - Finally found you

It's been 3 years and I'm still mateless, to make things a little more difficult today is a full moon and so my wolf is especially needy for a mate.
~Flashback
We finally finished high school and I'm turning 18 tomorrow. I can't wait to find my mate, my mom always told me about her and dad when I was a kid, as bedtime stories.
I hope to have something similar to that...
A year has passed and I still haven't found her. I went on the annual trip around packs for unmated wolfs but it was unsuccessful. I kept looking for another year, I even went to packs overseas but found nothing.
A friend suggested searching between the humans and so I did but continued with no mate.
To get my head out of this memories I decided to go to one of my favorite places in town and try to relax and get away from my horny mated friends.
When I arrived at the bookshop café I went to my usual seat, grabbed a coffee and a book. I was in the middle of reading when I heard the door bell ring and smelled a heavenly scent.
"Mate!" Jax, my wolf said
I look at the door and saw her, my mate.I felt so happy but surprised and unsure.
She's human and is a... wheelchair user?She's my mate? What happened to her? Is she hurt? She's so beautiful...
"Go talk to her, I wanna get nearer her" requested my antsy wolf
I went towards her table unsure of what to do or say.
"Hi, can I seat here?" I asked hoping she would say yes
She looked up at me and nodded with a smile
"I'm Theo by the way" I said while sitting
"I'm Kira, what are you reading?" she asked
"The genius and the goddess" I replied
"Really? I love that book!" She said excited
"He's one of my favorite authors" I commented
We continued to talk for an hour but then she had to leave.
"I really enjoyed talking to you, Theo" She said
"Me too, can we meet again?" I hoped
"Sure, I'll be here on friday" Kira answered
"Great, uhm...can I have your number?" I asked nervously
"Ye-ah... of course" My mate replied
I gave my cell phone to her and our hands touched for a second, I felt a spark and I guess she did too cause she look at me confused, I just smiled, she quickly typed her number and left blushing.
"Our mate is perfect, did you see her eyes?" Those pretty gray eyes... obviously
I returned to the pack house with a warm feeling in my heart, on my way to my room Dylan stopped me.
"What's up bro? You seem happy" He asked
"I did it, I found her!" I replied happily
"You found your mate? Congrats!" Dylan said
"Yeah, a few hours ago" I mentioned
"Tell me more about her" He asked
"She's human, black hair, grey eyes, funny, intelligent, just perfect" I told
"So... a human beta-female, that's interesting" He said while thinking
"There's something I forgot to mention" I remembered
"What is it?" My friend asked curiously
"She's a wheelchair user" I revealed
"That's unexpected considering our lifestyle but we can adapt everything for her if she decides to live in the pack" Said the alpha
"That means a lot to me, thanks Dylan" I hugged him
"She's one of us now Theo, it's the least I can do as the alpha" He stated proudly
Kira P.O.V
After leaving the coffee shop I went home thinking about what happened there, about him, the spark, the fact that he treated me like a normal girl and made me feel equal to him.
Will he text me? Probably not. He's so handsome and easygoing, maybe he just wanted to be friends, there's no way a guy like that would be interested in a girl like me. His dark brown hair, fair skin, mysterious green eyes and that amazing smile, everything about him intrigues me, especially those sparks I felt. I really hope to see him on friday.
