The horror of a caged fox .

The two scientists sat at the desk wondering when their latest experiment would come to fruition. For years they had been trying and for years they had failed . To create a human born out of a animal with animal characteristics. The last experiment had killed the animal and fetus. " I hope it works this time the boss is getting impatient ." " Me to .me to" dr.alex was a black haired with carmel colored skin man who was the size of a small 6th grader . He had always been hoping to find the perfect creature to make into a half human. And now he might succeed. Dr. Jace was a tall brown haired with tan skin . He wanted to prove to the world that humans were not created by some mystical God but were the product of evolution . And now they were so close . Suddenly the door burst open . Sir! The fox has gone into labor !

The two men were on their feet immediately rushing out the door . It was finally happening after years of miscarriages deaths and stillbirths they might finally have a success. Two hours later dr. Alex held in his hands a tiny baby girl with tiny ears and tail wailing her birth cry to the world "welcome to the world v92495. Vixie." "Call the boss we succeeded!" The lab erupted in cheers and congratulations . Alex smiled at the baby girl . You're so special vixie so special .the boss came in and took the girl from him. "Alex, jace as of today the girl is your responsibility. As with all parents you helped Create her you help take care of her. " Alec and jace didn't mind this at all . After-all they lived full time at the lab with their wives who would probably help them . With that thought their wives came in . May and Izzy (short for Isabella) Were very happy they were both unable to have children for very different reasons . In the year 3049 a new law had been passed anyone who was even just accused of hurting a child got a forced hysterectomy Or a vasterectomy .

Izzy was accused of hurting a younger child at her school when she was just 17 . May was born with out a uterus so having children was impossible . So having the child left in their care to raise made them very happy . Izzy took the child from the boss and held her to her breast. Smiling as the child tried to suck but only wailed louder to find no milk . May walked out only to return in a few seconds with a bottle of milk for the baby . Vixie began to suck eagerly drinking the milk . Her hands pushed the air by the bottle like a kitten trying to kneed the milk out of their mother . Jace wrote it down in his notebook that she seemed to have some animal traits and behaviors .they noticed that unlike normal babies she seemed to have milk teeth just like a fox cub would . Now they would have to raise her until she was ready to be shown to the public .

Three years later .

"I want to go outside!" "Vixie my darling you know that's not aloud just yet." May said "then when?!" Vixie cried "soon baby very soon." May was trying her best to calm the child down before they had another case of feral . Feral was when vixie got so angry she turned into a huge fox the size of her human form for several hours . During this time vixie tried to kill everything and everyone around her . It had only happened twice so far once when she was two and once 3 months ago. When vixie came back to her senses however she was very upset with herself for trying to hurt people . It seemed from the way she talked about it that her fox side took over and she had no control over herself . So they tried to avoid making her angry . Vixie was a beautiful little lady most of the time . When vixie was human she had long beautiful red hair with sea blue in one eye with the other being a beautiful emerald green. On the top of her head were two fox ears and a beautiful red bushy fox tail with a white top sticking out just above her butt. Vixie was raised wearing the white shirt and skirt that all girls in the facility did .she had never known any different offen when reading picture books to the child she would point at the people's clothes and say that's wrong. Their supposed to wear the uniform. Only she pronounced it unikorm. As she was part fox one of the most intelligent animals she learned to speak basic words at only 3 months .

Called the delighted fox girl . Crow or c as he likes to be called was born in a way similar to vixie but not quite the same . Crow was a regular Crow egg injected with human DNA . Dr.alex had helped with the experiment out of curiosity and was stunned when the egg hatched out a very tiny human boy but instead of having arms the boy had wings . These wings faded into normal human arms a week after his birth and he could make his arms into wings at will . While vixie was not the most obedient child . C very much was . He loved being good and getting all sorts of shiny trinkets. "Come on v in not to long we can both go outside . " " But I wanna go now !" But soon vixie feel asleep on her friends lap . See even though may had helped raise c unlike vixie he knew that this woman was not his mother and refused to talk to her like she was .

But when everyone was sleeping that night . Vixie stole the keys to the door that kept her locked away . She had never been pass the door that led to the exit of her ward never once . Vixie was stunned to see that the hall beyond the door was dark and cold . Once passed the door she could hear the screams of other experiments and it made vixie shiver . She slowly walked down the hall towards the next door . But was stopped when she heard it . "Please little girl help me" . From the door labeled z980 on the door was a do not open sign . Standing face against the bars of metal was an old man . Vixie had never seen anyone so old before and was naturally curious. She walked to the door and looked up at the man . "Who are you?" " Sweet child I am a poor old man locked up here because I like to play with little girls . Her innocent eyes widened" would you play with me outside?" "Of course child I want nothing more . " What that sweet little fox didn't know was that this a was a dangerous man . The word she was in right now was the ward for experimenting on criminals sentenced to death.

Edward spelton . A man who took and killed little girls . HIs kill count as of then was 87 all the girls ranged from 2-5 years old . She went to unlock his door and had almost undone the last lock . When she heard daddy (dr. Jace ) yell "vixie get away from there !" She turned "daddy ? " Just as the criminal kicked the door breaking the last lock he quickly grabbed vixie and held her up by the hair . "AHH" vixie yelled in pain . Edward laughed at her scream and shook her . " Quite brat . " "Let vixie go you lunatic" yelled jace holding a loaded gun at the man . " No see if I let her go I lose my hostage and then you would just put me back in that cage . " "It's not a cage it's your room . " Vixie yelled the man laughed " oh no sweet child make no mistake all the rooms in here are cages . and all the people want to do is see you scream and suffer in pain. You're nothing but a worthless experiment to them."

" Vixie don't listen to him ." Alex said coming around the corner with a gun loaded . " Your our precious child you believe me right?" Vixie looked in to the eyes of the papa she loved and nodded . "Now put vixie down or I shoot Edward." "Stop making empty threats you and I both know you can't shoot while I'm holding your "precious" vixie . " "Damn it what do you want edward?" "I want out of here . If you ever want to hold your "daughter" again then you let me walk out of here right now with the child and I'll let her go later." " No I can't do that you'll kill vixie and any other girl you come across . " " More the pity then ." Just as the man went to break vixies neck both vixies eyes went black . The two scientists immediately jumped back understanding in a flash what was happening . In a split second the man was holding a vicious feral Fox . Which lunged and tore out his throat .than man fell to the floor as did vixie but when vixie fell she landed on her head and passed out from the shock of it all .

" Vixie" both men yelled rushing to her. Slowly the girl turned back to her human self blood pouring from a Wound on her head . Alex got on his walkie-talkie and called for the medical team while jace took his lab coat and tried to stop the bleeding. "Shit Alex get them here now her heart is slowing down."the other prisoners began to jeer at the scientists . "Good riddance we don't need a filthy half blood like her anyways ." "She's monster let her die." The jeers made then both angry vixie was a sweet child not a monster she was what they made her. "Shut the hell up!" Then the medical team got there . Both of their wives were on the medical team . they both gasped with horror to see their baby slowly dieing in haves arms . "Vixie" the head medical lady spole " lady's I know you're worried but if we get distracted with worry she will die.we must make hast to save her ." They nodded understanding . After the surgery they all say down and prayed that their girl would be alright .
