A Good Read
"This is a shift in pace from what I usually read, but it was an enjoyable story…It reminded me of my childhood…I was taken aback by the sudden ending and am curious to see what happens…Good job…Can’t wait to read more of the author’s works."
I LOVE IT
"There were no WOLVES but i like cute funny romance too and this was so PERFECTTT well at least in the beginning. I like the ending but it was so not EXPECTED, maybe was random. Fourshadowing to Joplin would be cool but there already is some with the date. Except the stroy was so SHORT I WANT MOREEEE please update!!!!!!!!! I don't get the title though >︿< I am not super great at grammar but i think it was mostly correct although i am NOt SURE. AWESOME STORY I WILL READ YOUR OTEHR ONES SOON TOO!!!!!!!!!!!"

"So when I decided to check out this book I was expecting a nice romance with a plot twist which is what I got in this book ^^ One thing that didn't satisfy me was the fact that this book was short and basically took all of my excitement away for the reader to get more engaged in a book it needs to be more than four chapters long. The plot is interesting the bad thing is that the author made the book too short. In my opinion, I believe the author could've added more chapters to engage the reader and then in the last chapter give that plot twist. Overall the story itself was great I liked it."
Nice ending!
"That ending was certainly a plot twist! I won't spoil it for anyone reading this but it was definitely unexpected. For what it was, the development of the story was also good, even though it's not really my type of thing. Joplin was definitely an interesting side character. The wording was repetitive sometimes, like "his long legs taking long strides" and the part where she woke up excited then got ready excitedly. I think the word choice could have been better by using more descriptive words and specific verbs rather than describing a generic action with adverbs. Other than the word choice, nice story!"
Raked Over the Coals
"This is the second story I've experienced by this author, and once again I am struck by the raw material she's working with. There are (also once again) technical flaws that kept pushing me out of the narrative, which is frustrating because her voice is very rich. It's bugging me that once again I can't put my finger on what's there but there's a *something* that is not present in 99% of the new-writer stories I see. It's not that the story idea is super original--nothing is, anymore, so no strike against the author there--but the descriptions, maybe, or the dialogue, there's *something* here, some spark of magic. The author doesn't know how to write well yet, which is also no strike against her; nobody does when they start. It's like hearing somebody's first album, before they got a really good producer; the music is there, it's just buried beneath some unfortunate technical mistakes. But those can be fixed and if/when they do--watch out. Watch this writer. She's going places"
