"This is the first mafia romance book I have ever read but I have read other books by this author so I figured I would try it. It was great. Intriguing and had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop reading it. Twists and surprises throughout the book and no dull moments. I loved the Kayleigh as she is very relatable and has been through so much. My least favorite character became a favorite character by the end of the book. Beth Burke has a unique writing style that pulls you in from the beginning and I will definitely be reading more from her. There are warnings on this book for a reason."

"Beth Burke is an amazing writer. This story has interesting characters. It takes you through what their lives are like because of tradition. The reader get a strong female lead who needs to adjust to their traditional lifestyle. She still holds her strength, intelligence, kind heart and self, while needing to compromise. You have mafia, action, romance, disgusting bad guys, and failed escapes. There is a reason for 18+ there are some punishments, implied child sex abuse. Massive deaths mentioned, and of course gee-box action. I am off to read another of Beth's novels "

"Excellent read, I already knew I would enjoy your stories from the little taste I got from Uncaged. A very well told story of a modern day girl thrown into a life completely different from what she was used to. She had to learn to submit, and obey in a patriarchal culture in order to protect many innocent lives that depended on her, against her own judgement she found herself falling in love with the person she least expected. I wish there was a sequel, want to learn more about their stories, more about the brothers, Roisin, and their children as they become leaders. ❤️❤️"
