Need part 2!
"I love the story, and the writer is very skilled, something not easily found on this site. This story is only the first half of the overall story, and the entire story is found on Ao3, with the same title, but the characters names are different. I have to say, with a story this good, I would have paid for it, and I urge the writer to try and get signed with a romance publisher, so I can give you some money in the future. I hope you stick with writing because you have a real gift. Thanks for the one you gave me today."
Emotional rollercoaster
"When I first read this story I didn't knew what I was getting myself into. The first half follows the classic formula of boy-mets-boy, and that’s okay. This story knows what it is, knows where its from and doesn't aim to be more than a story of two normal boys growing together and realizing they’re in love. One after another in different stages of their lives. Sehyun does it first, Minjae second, but they love each other with a realism that never ceased to amaze me. The characters are portrayed in a way that somehow makes you care about them, or either hate them, they are real and make mistakes. That's hard to do even with simple stories (at first, because you'll soon realize that this story isn't simple at all) like this, but this novel has that extra, and it's amazing. I've read books from all periods of time through two years of my Literature major and the elements of these books are present in this novel. Loss, love, mental illness and friendship. Pain is an inevitable presence in this world- And the author knows it. 'Christmasyoongi' will not lie to you, they wrote a story about the real world, and there are millions of young boys like Minjae and Sehyun. A story isn't original when it doesn't have clichés, a story is original when the author TAKES the common elements of romance novels and OWNS them. And ‘Trying to behave’ is the perfect example of my favorite type of novel: one where the characters aren't perfect and the problems don't have magic solutions. This first part just shows half of Minjae and Sehyun's journey to be together, and you know you want to read the next part. Sure it has flaws, but what work of fiction doesn't?"

"This story needs to be published. I need to hear the pages flip while I read because that's the sound of me enjoying and thrilled of what's going to happen next. Every single time I finish a chapter it's either I'm staring at the wall, giggling to myself or staring at the wall, crying my heart out (but mostly crying and I was a sobbing mess at 2 am because reading this hurts so much so good luck to the brave souls who'll read this beauty!!! ). I really love how the characters started out as kids in the story and they're so lovable. The character development is amazing that it'll make you care for them so much and find yourself be happy and giggly for the cute wonderful moments of the two fools who are in love and be sad and cry at the heartbreaking (even cruel imo haha) ones. ALSO, the way it was written, I LOVE IT. I love the way how each of the story is told by the characters' own perspectives. As a reader I really like this because it makes you understand how each character feels. This is the first LGBT fic I've ever read, to be honest, so this book is special to me. And I must say, I have learned quite a lot of new things and has given me whole new lot of understanding. And this is why I recommend this book to all of the readers out there. This book has given me lots of feelings although mostly very sad ones, but it's the happy ones that's truly bliss. And this why it's beautiful. It'll make you appreciate the small happy things that'll happen in the story and most probably your life. Easily the best thing I've ever read!
"I'm as fond of this story as Sehyun is whipped for Minjae. It truly is the best thing I've ever read, nothing else even comes close. Having read a lot more of this story than what's posted here, I can wholeheartedly guarantee that this story is worth your time. It will make you cry, make you laugh and linger on your mind long after you first read it. Before this I struggle to remember ever reading a piece of writing more than once and enjoying it just as much as I did the first time. I've always though to myself "what is the point in reading something again when I already know what happens?" but this story changed my whole perspective. I am pretty sure I have read every chapter of this at least 3 times and it effects me just as much every time. Rereading it allowed me to see the foreshadowing and (in later chapters) appreciate the allusions the writer makes. I absolutely adore the writer's writing style, it's so unique and fun to read. I feel blessed to be able to experience it and I sincerely doubt I will ever find a piece of writing that outshines this one, I've peaked. From the very beginning, the characters are sublimely well written and easy to fall in love with. The writer does an impeccable job of making you feel the characters' own emotions and care about their futures. I have never in my life been so invested in words on a page. Being someone who reads a lot I have unfortunately grown quite tired of long, boring descriptions that seem to serve no purpose other than filling space. However, that is something that never appears in this piece. The author is able to describe the occurrences in such a way that you feel like you're part of the action; living in the moment with the characters and it never gets tiring to read, in fact, I look forward to it and always want more. They have restored my faith in literature. The romance in the story is beautifully crafted. Instead of solely anticipating Minjae and Sehyun's breakthrough moment, I find myself appreciating even the smallest moments they have; a kiss on the cheek, a brush of their fingers, a casual expression of their fondness for each other, it gets me through. The plot is extremely well thought out and developed. Minjae and Sehyun's love story would warm even the coldest of hearts. I also have the utmost respect for how the author goes about tackling the subject of mental illness, which is so often trivialised and brushed aside but refreshingly not in this case. This masterpiece deserves to be published. If I could I would buy a few billion copies and hand them out to every person in the world just to give this story and author the recognition they deserve. Overall; a groundbreaking work of art and one I won't ever tire of praising. I can't recommend it highly enough. I love this story more than I love myself, I only hope others get the chance to do the same."
Good story
"Every fiber of my being wanted to take the original review down completely, because of how much attention it's gotten. I read the whole story again, back to front, and my opinion on it still hasn't changed. While I admit that parts of my original review were wrong, I still believe what it originally said. It's got great potential within its flaws. I offered criticisms, and they weren't positive because I wanted more, I wanted to see it go above and beyond. And I got grilled alive because of it. Masterpiece
"Its not about the characters is about how they develop together. Its not about how this an LGBT story is about how two kids grow up together and face the consequences of their actions. It goes to all those kids who don't know where they belong to; you'll find a place here. It's not about how this, maybe, is going to make you cry is about how this really hits where it hurts. This story is emotionally exhausting but is worth it. It's worthy of anyones time because you'll fall in love with the whole plot being it that keeps it real with a slight touch of fiction and this is true to how angels lie to keep control. A true master piece that will bring you to pieces but at the same time make you a whole."
