Loved It
"I really enjoyed this. I thought, in the beginning, it was a little like Poe's the Tell Tale Heart and I was sure the gentleman was going to do something like throw the clock out the window or run it over and be done with it. I was thrown slightly at the end but was not disappointed."
Fantastic
"Hello there! I really liked this piece a lot. The suspense, horror, and mystery behind it really made this write worth reading. Honestly, there wasn't anything about this story that I didn't like. The writing was fluid and very well done, the main character was well developed and three-dimensional, the plot was intriguing as well as dark and thrilling, and the ending took me off guard. I didn't see that coming. Well done on this my friend. This is a very good one."
Entranced by a tick, tick, tick...
"The mystery was what drew me in, and it was that same mystery that made me stay. A peculiar gentleman finds a peculiar clock and through his growing rage, the readers interest grows. The use of suspense was just the right amount and did not become slow or boring, and as another reviewer commented, it does bear resemblence to Poe's 'The Raven'. There was little error in grammar and spellings, other than you once wrote - by pure accident, of course - 'is' instead of 'it'. A very interesting read, and I commend you on it! - C.A."
Suspenseful and well written
"I really enjoyed this story, especially because it reminded me so much of Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven'. Wonderful play of words - you managed to build up the suspense till the very end and keep me intrigued. Loved it!"
