I’ll Get You My Pretty!
"There is a girl with long, dark hair who lives within the pages of an ancient, mostly unread book. Her skin is eerily pale and her face remains unseen as she sleeps for the moment, trapped within the book. Hope never to wake her up. For she never leaves any living victims once her tome has been read after midnight. Unfortunately, this is the mistake that Ivy commits. Scoffing at the simple warning of the danger of reading the journal once the clock strikes twelve, Ivy does so only to feel the ticklish sensation of an unseen something breathing down her neck. But Ivy refuses to loose hope. With her new friends, she prepares herself to battle the thing in the book. But will she ultimately succeed? There are only two chapters so far and the prologue, but what I read was nice. I love these Ring type stories. The ones where the protagonist and the reader breaks the rules together, therefore implying that the reader will suffer the same nasty fate as the protagonist. It gives the novel this spooky breaking-the-fourth-wall feel. Brrr, I shudder just thinking about it. The details about Nigeria feels very authentic too and adds more realism to the story. I hope Lala Pubs finishes her book soon. I can’t wait to read more. "
Amazing!
"Although I don't really read horror stories, I love the writing style and the way the author carefully explained everything that the character was feeling, hearing, and seeing. Just by reading the first few paragraphs, I know that it's a story worth reading!"
Little girl I have found you D:
"You did your best to make readers feels goosebumps. I would like to tell you that you achieved in making this story piece intriguing. "Little girl I have found you" .A small elaboration of ghost other than wide grin and red eyes will make the story more intriguing."
