Prologue

Welcome to my 500th book. lol...okay hi. Hope you enjoy this mwah and make sure you stay safe.

If fate had intended for two people to be together surly fate would do everything and anything for them to come together. Fate would’ve wanted them to be together because that is how things are supposed to turn out, with fate of course. He is a force of nature that ensures that someone’s life ends in nothing but a happy ending. If fate wanted two lovers to be together, he would push and pull for them to wound up in each other’s life. Fate would drag them to one and other, defying any form of law of physics. That is how it works. Fate fights for you. Fate dies for you, because he wants nothing else, but a happy ending to come to your life. Now when those two people were to meet, that is unknown. Because fate works in a weird way , right. Even if death was to come upon these two lovers, on judgement day they would meet. In the quiet place of peace they would cross paths and start a new life with each other. If a storm was to come down or a tsunami, one would maybe...just ,maybe end up on the others sore. Or fate could be simple, one could crash their car into the other, and they joke about their mistakes. Because that is what fate does, brings us our happiness and lovers into the world.

But that doesn’t mean you can call fate a saint. He is nowhere near it, but he isn’t exactly a devil in disguise, is he? Because even though fate can drag people together, he can rip them apart. He can break them into a million pieces leaving them deprived of the love or life that they were destined to have. Fate doesn’t believe in time. When a person meets the one they love at the right time, it is merely due to their luck. Fate doesn’t care. Fate doesn’t love. He can demand that two people are pulled apart because they don’t deserve to be with each other at that particular time. Fate can demand that one of the lovers die because they had done their job by living and that the other person needs to learn how to live with heartbreak. That is what fate does to people. Break them. But fate is more than an entity that dictates our life, fate is us. Fate is our way of living. We control our fate, but some people refuse to believe in that. Fate is the person we blame when our life falls apart when our life breaks into pieces and we have no one to blame but ourselves and the thought of blaming ourselves terrifies us.

This is yet another story that was illustrated by fate. Another story that fate wants to edit continuously, another story that fate intends to have a happy ending...that is if he wants. Fate relies on one’s history, how things played out for each person. History is something that everyone has, it’s a way we can grow. Every piece of history differs from person to person, just like the history fate feeds off for this story. This world is different, with kingdoms separated with each continent. There was war, there were treaties, there were deaths and there were invasions. Each continent had separated into four kingdoms, east, west, south and north. Didn’t matter where you were, that is how it worked. Of course they weren’t called that, but they had the same structure. Within every continent, there was an alliance: the war alliances. No matter what, these kingdoms within the continents had promised to protect each other. Of course, like any other kingdom, you need international support and so there were alliances that happened outside continents. The East Alliance, The Gold alliance. The two strongest alliances each containing the most strongest Kingdoms.

Now, yes, the sound of kingdoms are boring, but this is far from it. Albion and Buganda, the most famous of them all for a fact. Both matched in dignity and honour. They have power. They have charge. And they have a strong bloodline. Just like each other, they have been around for a long time, and they have a long bloodline of history with each other, but...it is nothing good or to be proud of. Buagnda, the kingdom of east Africa, has power and rich food hidden within their land.. From the outside world, they are nothing more than an imitation of a third world country, but the history of them says otherwise. From colourful art to rich food to an amazing culture that pulls them together, they were everything every other kingdom hoped to be. But let’s not forget their inheritance, their royal blood. They differed from other kingdoms, they allowed diversity, no matter what interracial relationship came their way their bloodline stayed solid and straight. Unlike Albino who rely on not ‘invading’ their bloodline and ‘infesting’ it. Nothing could stop them.

Well, Albino could. West Europe. A place known for its passion and love. This kingdom is rich in army and culture. Just like Buganda, they share the same qualities and it is quite fascinating really. How can two people that share the same qualities hate each other? Simple, it is damaging to the ego. After many wars, many fights, many deaths, the two grew hatred for each other and the main reason for the international alliance to form was due to the other kingdoms witnessing these two drag each other down independently. Like other wars, the ice between the two eventually thawed out, but that didn’t mean that the puddle left wasn’t willing to turn into ice again.

Like fate intended, if this war wasn’t written out, then the two fate destined to be together would have never met. And although fate believes in free will, doesn’t mean he can’t control which path each person decides to go onto. Fate didn’t want this to be a typical love story, he wanted it to be complicated. He wanted to test the morals of peoples. Test the morals of those involved. Because of this rivalry, this ancient grudge turned into a new mutiny, two star crossed lovers blood mixes in the fruit of the womb.

But Fate’s story doesn’t end so quickly, no. It starts with a small letter. In Buganda, where the skies are clear blue and at night the stars shine brighter that you could ever think they could. The smell of earth lingers in the air and nothing but bright happy colour surrounds you. By first glance you would think this place was where mother earth laid her bed to sleep. It was filled with life and was kept alive by the royal family. And so you can find the heroin trapped in her royal palace. Surrounded with marble, but never stripped of its ancient features. That is where she lays. On her bed that is placed in the centre of the room with nothing but the winter breeze to comfort her.
