How it all began.... Part 1: The battle
BOOM!!
I was slammed against the wall. And here I thought this fight was going to be easy
Well, I guess I thought wrong...
'It's time to get serious' I thought to myself as I summoned my element, activated my demonic abilities, and enhanced my senses with my werewolf abilities. I looked like a powerful ass fallen angel. Fuck that, I was a GODDESS. I spread my arms and sprouted two-midnight blue feathery wings, which gradually faded into electric-blue as you got to the tips. That process took about 7.875 seconds my new best time. I turned around to my stunned mate and my scared enemy and let out a laugh. It was funny because not even my mate has seen me like this, let alone in my winged-wolf form, and let me tell you, their faces were priceless, but now wasn't the time for that.
I focused on controlling the sky and drawing lightning to me. Of course, I could summon other elements, but lightning was the easiest for me to control, so I made lightning my go-to element. Plus, when I use my lightning element I can bend the weather to my will, which is extremely useful.
The man whom I was about to kill shook like the last leaf on a tree.....That has been uprooted......and in the middle of a tornado. But he quickly recomposed himself as my mate attacked. His name was Zephyr. He used to be my best friend, my second brother, a.k.a the brother that I've always wanted, but what jealous creatures humans are. Zephyr never did trust my mate, but when I finally did he was jealous.
Jealous enough to think that I would betray him.
Jealous enough to let the darkness consume him.
Jealous enough to murder my mother...
That was the final straw.
Although he may have been the person I would've died for in a heartbeat, at this moment in time I wanted nothing more than to kill him my damn self.
And I will.
Lightning started spiraling downward towards me excruciatingly slow. I had no choice but to sit back and watch as Zephyr faked a left-hook and attacked with the silver-wolfsbane knife. I just knew my mate would dodge it, as he was the one who taught me not to fall for that trick.
But I was dumb.
The third attack came from his shadow, it slithered between my mate's legs and rose out of the ground with another knife. Pure silver and with a dosage of wolfsbane so high, a tiny scratch could kill.
He just wasn't fast enough. The knife sank into his shoulder and my wolf, Shela, howled in pain.
My vision clouded red.
Elements from everywhere came to me. Shadowy tendrils of darkness rose from the ground. Lightning from the sky and human bodies came to me. Outlets, street lamps, cars, planes anything with an electric current within a 70-mile radius released their magical deathtrap of energy for me to absorb. Water from facets, rivers, lakes, and toilets flowed from its confinements to wash away my pain. Flames erupted like wildfires around me. Large chunks of rock rose from the earth like islands. The wind breezed around me in a silent shield waiting for someone to dare attack me. Every element seeped into my skin like I was a freshly squeezed sponge in water. My eye color is divided from its normal purple color to blue and red in one eye. Swirling around each other as if they're unable to mix and make purple. A Yin and yang of color around my black pupil.
My mate was doubled over in pain, trying his hardest to stay strong, while Zephyr was trying to make a run for it.
'Pussy' I thought. Without my command, lightning weaved its way in his path stopping him dead in his tracks. He turned to me as I slowly levitate towards him.
" Y-You know I did this for you, R-Right?" He reasons. "I did it all for you. He kidnapped you, you can't trust him. He's been with so many women before you but for some reason he chose you."
"For some reason, it just so happens that y-you turned out to be really powerful. He is using you for power, don't you see. He-"
I close my fist and he stops talking.
"I went to HIM!! I trusted YOU!" My anger rose at his feeble excuses. Objects other than elements started rising off the ground slowly.
" YOU KILLED MY EX-BOYFRIEND FIRST! I DIDN'T MIND CUZ WHO GIVES A SHIT, HE CHEATED ON ME! THEN YOU ACT LIKE A OVERJEALOUS FUCKING PRICK, I DIDN'T MIND THAT EITHER CUZ JEALOUSY IS A EMOTION AND I THOUGHT YOU WOULD GET OVER IT! BUT NOOO~! YOU JUST HAD TO GET JEALOUS OF MY MOTHER AND MURDER HER!! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!! THEN YOU STAB MY MATE AND WITH A PURE SILVER WOLFSBANE KNIFE! YOU KNOW I CAN FEEL HIS PAIN YOU DIPSHIT! NO ONE HURTS WHAT IS MINE!! NO ONE BITCH!!!" He just calmly looked at me like he didn't care, but with my eye, I physically saw his thoughts and felt his emotions.
All of them.
He had cast a demon protection spell on himself so he thought he was the shit, but deep down he was guilty and afraid. He was pissing me off with this no reaction shit, but his next thought slapped me in the face.
'I wish she would shut the fuck up so I can focus on killing the puppy. It's not like he has any significance, he's just like her mother. Worthless.'
That last word echoed through my brain. He thinks my mother is worthless... After everything she did for him...he thinks she's...' Worthless'. Images of the past roam through my head.
Images of him smiling with my mom.
Images of him laughing with my mom.
Memories of a time when he would cry and my mother would comfort him like he was her son. Something she NEVER did for me...her own blood
Memories were I had run away because I felt she didn't care for me enough to get me something for my birthday, instead she bought you a whole TV and took you out for dinner. And even though I was angry, I knew you deserved it and I still loved my mother, but he thinks she was 'worthless'. I mean, I know she did bad things but 'worthless'?
What?...
And that's when I lost control...
"YOU THINK YOU CAN THINK SHIT ABOUT MY MOTHER AFTER YOU KILLED HER!!!" I bellowed. The levitating objects climbed the stairway to heaven, higher and higher as my anger rose.
" YOU CAN'T EVEN SHOW REMORSE FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, BUT YOU CAN THINK DOWN ON HER"
beep!..beep.!beep!
"YOU DON'T DESERVE THIS LIFE, SO LET ME END IT FOR YOU!"
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
I flung elements at him but his shield protected him.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
" YOU THINK THAT FLIMSY ASS SHIELD WILL PROTECT YOU BITCH!! YOU THINK YO ASS GOT SOME POWER BITCH!! I'LL SHOW YO ASS SOME POWER!!!!"
And with that, I charged.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
