The world inside my head (Poetry)

The world inside my head,

I hope it never becomes dead.

I get fed up with the real world,

Looking for an escape from the reality,

I don't care if I'm wasting my vitality.

I love living in my own world,

Where all of my dreams and beliefs come true.

The time passes away quick,

But that ain't stopping me.

I always pick some songs

As I put headphones in my ears,

Forgetting about my deepest fears,

Forgetting about all those tears.

No one can take it away from me,

You may say I'm wasting my time

And I don't really mind.

I just live my life

So you should live yours,

Don't tell me what to do,

I will go anywhere I want,

Don't need anyone by my side.

Abandoning my world

Would be my suicide,

It's the place where I can hide

So let's go on another ride!
