This story is a very personal piece of art for me to write. Though this is a love story, it also has some hard-hitting topics revolving around mental health and self-medicating/coping.
I have tried to do my best not to exaggerate tendencies or situations for the sake of drama because depression and anxiety are important and prevalent to pay attention to.
If you or anyone you know struggles with addiction, suicidal ideation, or depression, reach out in any way you can to get help.
