Chapter One: Captured
Our planet was taken over years ago by an alien race unknown to us until the day they came to earth. We called the species “Species X” or “Alpha Species”. I know, not that original but that was the name we gave them when they first arrived and we weren’t exactly given the chance to rename the species after some examinations by a research team or maybe even a field of our finest doctors.
At first when they arrived, it was peaceful. They wanted to learn more about us, a species like them in many ways. They were curious like we were of them. In exchange they gave us information too and we learned from each other.
They guaranteed safety and union, to work together and help each other reach our goals. Every news channel filmed the meeting with their leader meeting our president and even of a few interviews in the upcoming month.
It was broadcasted worldwide and everyone was shocked to discover another species like ours existed and for so long without us discovering them. We were curious to learn more, so of course no one cared when more of them came down, slowly growing in numbers.
We trusted them and thought of them as allies. A species we could communicate with that had done something that we never even completed yet. They traveled all over the galaxies while we barely even discovered all of the planets. Before long, the alien species had became our neighbors and attended classes like yoga, went to the gym or walked by each other at the parks or became our co-workers, even bosses in some fields.
It was exciting times to live in! The world as we knew it was evolving and changing in ways we couldn’t fathom or what we even thought possible. There were so many more possibilities and new things we could do together.
For a few years it was peaceful, each species working together and helping each other out. That was before we knew what they really wanted from us. While their species was healthy and thriving even past ours in many ways, over each generation of theirs, less and less females were being born.
They were a dying species. Running out of females and mates. It wasn’t a mistake or a miracle for them to discover us. They were searching the galaxy trying to find an answer or a way to cure their species for more girls. When they found our small world, they sent out a small group of researchers and found out they could mate with us, but not all of us.
They had observed us for years after finding out they could mate with a certain kind of humans. There was a gene that not everyone had that enabled humans to breed with their species.
They didn’t know how many of us they could breed with or even how distinguish the ones that can't from those who can. We all looked the same, it wasn't like omegas carry a special birthmark or wore a bright white and red shirt that says, "Omega here! Take me!" They had to wait until the opportunity presented itself. Until then, they couldn't give away their true purpose for coming down to earth until they got what they wanted.
It wasn’t until a general smelled a human out during a fundraiser ball that they discovered how to determine which one of us they could mate with. We probably wouldn’t have cared that they wanted to be with some of us if they didn’t skip right past courting and right into kidnapping and fucking them instead. Held against their wills until they wanted to stay and be with them.
Brainwashed into wanting families and a future with them. How else could anyone of us want to be with them? To have their children and want to build a family with an alien.
When they found out they could just smell out the ones that they could be mated with, they broke the treaty and sent out armies worldwide to gather them up. More than what we thought possible or thought they even had, came down and started a war we never even saw coming.
We fought back and for multiple months after, we won each battle. But with each battle won, we lost more and more men until there wasn’t anybody else left to fight back.
Families went on the run, scared to die and even more scared to find out if their loved ones were among the unlucky that were able to breed with them. We went underground, fought back when needed to and came together in groups. We had more of a chance standing together than apart.
By that point, the aliens had taken over our homes and had made a world of their own out of ours. They built a wall to separate themselves them the humans left after the wars. Kicked us out of our homes and forced us to live underground, above ground was no longer safe, we found places like underground bunkers where we could live away from them and be safe.
We could have some sort of a life and not have to worry about them finding us. The best thing about our bunkers was that they couldn’t smell us down here unless we were above ground where we shouldn’t be. Only the males were sent above ground to find food or other resources we needed.
Don’t get me wrong, there were times were some of us didn’t return and probably got killed, but no one would tell them where we were. That would mean the end of our existence as we knew it and nobody wanted that.
They still sent out scouting troops to bring back more or kill off the survivors that they couldn’t use. Pushed out of the world we had built, we were forced to make a new one so we could survive. A new world where we stood a fighting chance, a world with rules and those rules, had rules.
A world that we survived but not thrived. We survived like this for years, generations. Raising families in our colony, our numbers growing everyday. It was safe, the only home I had and a place where one day, I would raise a family of my own. It was the safest place on earth to be in. Until today.
