"So.....I took a break from inkitt and I wanted to read something that showcases that slow, steamy burn at the same time that crispy elements. But did I find the right book? Ohhhh Hell Yeah......!!!!!!! I came across this book, added it to my library, read it and man all I can say is 'BOOM' The plot has that bold yet elegant thing in it, the author has taken time in designing each of the character and each of the space the story takes place in. The emotions and feelings are described beautifully. The author has even taken initiative to interact with her readers which am sure is the best thing ever. Can't wait for the sequel....... "I have older siblings that died and can connect with Julie in that aspect, making her more real for me as I read the story. Ryder is sweet as sugar hidden within a mountain of stone. And the relationship between Julie and Andrew is so toxic it makes you feel like you are watching an episode of Maury whenever the two are in the same room. And who wouldn't love Delores I loved this story and can't wait to read part 2 💕"

"I am very familiar with this writer's works having read ALL of them. I can say with all confidence, this book will be a hit also. Charlotte Mallory not only has the most unique plots, but her characters are all interesting. Her flow of words makes this storyline easy to follow. This is a real page-turner! I would also add this author writes from an authentic point of view doing her homework on physical therapy which is included as a topic in this book. Not all authors would be as diligent to make their books relatable for the reading populations. I certainly recommend this book and this author. "

"Wow, What a romance story. The sexual tension is SO HOT. Ryder is a dream boat and is incredibly macho and brooding but is also such a great guy. The author really nailed the Bad Boy trope here and it's like what I have wanted all along in other romance books. Julie, the main female character, is also someone I completely root for. I seriously LOVE these two as a couple. I cannot wait to read more. The writing is also incredibly strong and I cannot believe this is a free novel on here. If you like the alpha Male trope that;s not a huge douchebag, you're going to absolutely love this."

"Decent writing skills, not too many glaring errors until the end half. Plot was nice but very slow, a lot of filler/fluff has potential to be removed- at one point I was skipping paragraphs because the story just wasn't moving forward! Has a lot of potential that was lost from overextending the storyline. Needs a fine tooth comb and like half the chapters would've gotten it to the same ending. Wish it had been wrapped up in one book, I regret reading it now that I finished and discover there will eventually be a SEQUEL. I expected a single, finished story for how long it was. The story line could be great, just needs less unnecessary filler. I would've loved more familiar/friend interactions and less dragging on and on about Andrew and nothing changing. There are lots of characters to keep track of which is a bit hindering especially with similar names. It is however pretty realistic, no specialized made up names. All in all, a good time waster, not very exciting in any way, the fighting was less than mediocre... an mma fighter love story with 1 fight... Story drags on longer than needed, will get boring after 20 chapters or so. Recommend if you're desperate for mostly accurate spelling/grammar."
