Sisters of the Sea

It was like a flickering light in the darkness a drop of pure living life that can heal even death. It was not just the Naiad that felt the curse lift, all of the Ocean’s people felt the power of some unknown person’s song being answered…

The forgotten Naiad’s had awakened and returned to the sea, the Undine even stepped up to protect them until they were safely in the Deep.

Even the Rusalka had vowed to not overstep the peace treaty with the Oceanid and allowed safe passage to one and every Naiad. The Selkies, the Kelpies, the Melusine and even the Sirens had felt the herald of Mer to all her children to come home; not just the Naiads.

At the same time as the glorious hope of going home sounded it was as if all the evil of the world awoke as well…

The Encantado wailed their eerie songs again and spirited away many men that day. Vampires fed that night and the Succubae enslaved many men to their will.

The Humans’ faith had suddenly been tested in their gods and found to be weak, but some remained strong and stronger still! Their prayer answered as the worlds of myth started to come alive once again in parts of unknown lands.

Druids once again held their staffs high as they healed the land with their magic, though so broken it was as trying to fill a Black-Hole with light.

The Fay felt the stirring of nature and gave their own light to help the Druids from the realm beyond the eye-can-see.

The fires of the world lit the forges, to ready for war they knew would come.

The Faun cried, their sensitive nature alerting them to the many separated families and friends and the sparks of war that lit a country against itself.
