"I really loved this book. Bring that it's TOS's first book, I can say that the plot is very nice and it keeps you intrigued and wanting to read more. I managed to read this book in 24hrs literally.. Although there are some minor spelling and grammatical issues, they are very minimal and do not affect you whilst reading. I highly recommend this book to those readers who live romantic stories and want to get hooked into an easy and nice flowing story. I hope there will be a sequel for this book as I really want to see how Lauren's love story will continue... ❤️❤️"

TOS
"After reading Tos's first book, I seriously think we have an aspiring author in the making. The plot and how the story develops is great. A bit of grammatical mistakes, but I'm sure that could be dealt with in no time. Best of luck to the author! Eagerly awaiting book 2. 😊"

A wonderful binge read!
"This novel is the definition of a page turner! Once I started it, I couldn't stop and left me reading into the early hours of the morning. I can be a grammar Nazi so, I'm not going to lie, if there is a point of improvement for me it would be that. BUT I feel like this with every story (including mine) AND there was nothing that interrupted the flow or pace of the story itself. In fact, I think the pace was a major strong point here. I loved how well rounded all the characters are and how they each got their unique storyline. More importantly, I loved the gradient of colours of each character. I don't like it when characters are either black or white because life is not like that. It's made up of damaged and flawed but beautiful people, and this story captures that perfectly. I loved it on the whole! Well done TOS :)"

Interesting Story
"I love the pun in the title; restoring the art restorer. It gives the story the perfect connection to Lauren that runs skin deep. And reading further, it's even more interesting to find out that Jay suggested this to Lauren as a way of covering up her scars. That moment tied the entire story premise together, and I loved every minute of it. It's one of those stories that starts off slow and then picks up and reels you in right in the middle; when Jay come into the picture. From the moment they met, I was eager to know what would come of it. I love their slow budding romance, and the tension packed build up, it kept me curious to find out more. Their progression from the first kiss was explosive, and I like that the story still focused on Lauren’s project in Australia while all the ‘drama’ with Jay happened. My main critic would be that the author could rework the opening chapters, so they're clearer and hook better. Look into establishing a stronger setting that fosters a sense of place for the story. The opening chapter is currently a bit rough to follow, but right after Lauren meets up with Kim it clears up. Overall, it is an interesting love story with great promise."
Under Construction
"Props for the alliterative title! An excellent choice. The blurb, designed to draw in a casual reader, unfortunately told me very little; half of the information seemed unnecessary (knowing no more about the book as I read it - if the focus is on Jay and Australia, why mention London, Florence and Tommy?) What could be the first chapter is instead a repeated blurb, which is redundant and might lose readers. The first page of the actual first chapter...a great deal of telling right off the bat. I'm told that Tommy is Lauren's best friend, that he's an amazing and talented artist, that he's in love with fashion designer Carlos...and that's the first two sentences. I want to be shown all of this, I want to be drawn into the story and made to care about the people. The telling continues in subsequent paragraphs - and chapters. Not many technical issues, though found some consistent spelling and punctuation problems. The POV, near as I saw, stayed consistently with each chapter's main character which is excellent! Many writers struggle in this area. The heart of the writer is absolutely evident on the page - there is no question in my mind that, though currently rough, her work is passionate and she will, if she continues writing, go very far"
Potential is there for a very good story….
"This book has potential, and that is from somebody who normally doesn’t read romance books. There is a lot of good here. Love the slow burn connection of the MC’s. The thing that I feel is holding this story back is the “Show don’t Tell” rule. There is a lot of telling going on. I kind of understand doing it early on when you are setting up the backstory of the MC, but it continues on for a while. The middle to back half of the book really clears up and the tension grows and explodes (in a good way). But the somewhat rough grammar and the telling still exist there. Clean that up and it’s a very solid book."
