Summary

Ferris Parker had forever felt like the odd one out in her family. Never having gotten along with her mom and brothers, never having the patience to work past family dynamic issues, and being blessed with a sarcastic and snarky personality, Ferris is often seen by her relatives as a lost cause. Ferris, a high school senior, is working hard to figure out what her inspiration for her future is, trying to find any sort of guidance along the way. An art student, Ferris desperately wants to abandon the small-town life she leads and see her artwork and exhibits displayed in prominent and influential museums. Dealing with divorcing parents, finding her way for the future, and balancing her relationship with her boyfriend, Max, Ferris struggles to keep her feet on the ground and her head above water. Will she be able to make it through?
