Poem 1 - Up and down

It's going up

It's going down

I own what I own, can't lose it

All shops closed but oh

The government makes no sense

Everything feels so tense

Lockdown huh, we'll be home for long

People meeting each other

It's all wrong

Isolated, feels like forever

Life's fun before this happened never

It's the end but the beginning

This disease is winning

We got no chance

All we can do is social distance

Sun is still shining

But our world is dying

People are crying, this is the doom

We were all hoping it'll end soon

This could be the endless end

So many things left to mend

So many vaccines left to send

The reality has been bended

Who is our friend? Who's the enemy?

Where is our remedy?

Whose fault is this?

Yours, mine or his?

It's long, it's not right

This is the endless fight

Where's the light in the darkness?

Times are tight, tighter than ever

The end seems to be never

You can't fix it, no one can

People are irresponsible

Left is only remorse

Some people died

All because of you

You lied, you didn't realize

You hear that everywhere

Do you care? Have you had enough?
