Great Start!
"I've enjoyed your book so far. I am looking forward to reading the rest when it is ready. The first chapter is a little dark but I like that you get to see her past trauma ... a look into Adeline's psyche. Not sure about Kristian yet. He seems skittish. rightly so, being bullied. Will he open up to Adeline? What about Silas? Does he have a secret crush on his stepsister? Then there is the bully, Evan. Will he cause more trouble or will he fall for Adeline? I'm really quite excited to see how it all plays out. I could see this being one of those books I stay up in the wee hours of the morning, just to see what happens next."
The Story of Adeline May
"I am done reading, more like you are testing waters. I like the story and its simplicity, but I felt it was somehow drifted away from the mind-blowing trauma Adeline had from the start. I would have loved to see more impact her mom's demise had on her perhaps not emotionally since she kind of has resistance to that like her Dad (at least the story told us that), probably mentally or psychologically. Let that drama play out in a unique way and catch our attention and on how, she managed to get over it... sure you understand my point. I suggest you shouldn't be too casual about the story, the storyline is quite a trending one and a lot of people will certainly want to see how Adeline handles it all to the end, it will definitely help others in her situation. You better sit up and give this story the life it deserves. Your grammar usage is nice but a little editing is required to polish it up nicely. Overall, good effort."
So far!
"I’m usually not one on these types of romance stories, But The characters in the world kept me coming back!! And so far the first few chapters set up a really interesting world!! I do enjoy the main character quite a bit as they are extremely reliable and someways!! I’m excited to see updates in the chapters come out❤️🔥"
Interesting start!
"Wow, what a start. You're doing a great job, and way to start Adeline's story with an event that flipped her life upside down. The first chapter is short, but it's kinda capturing and rich. The way you introduced Adeline and gave us information about her from the very first chapter was smooth and clear and it didn't feel forced or heavy at all. I love how things are unfolding and I smell trouble actually. Apparently, Adeline was a badass!! Technically, your grammar is good, there are a few typos, one missing word, and you mistook Kristian for a girl at the end of chapter three. I advise you to reread your chapters and I'm sure you will easily locate the mistakes. Regarding punctuation, it seems you understand the rules of dialogue punctuation. When using 'I say' or 'I mumble' like in chapter two, the dialogue should end with a comma if it's a statement. Same with Silas. It should be "I'm sorry I don't know the dialogue," Silas says. It should also end with a comma. Keep your tense consistent, I noticed you switch from present to past tense. That's all. It's a good start and I'm going to continue reading Adeline May!"
Falling For Kristian
