I and my brother sitting at the table, and my baby brother Jacob cozily snuggled into his padded high-chair. I took the Fruity Pebbles of the shelf and poured them into the bowl, and the parched cereal was quickly quenched by the milk.
My brother clicked on the TV and switched to the news. Though there supposedly was a large tornado outbreak. We really didn't seem to take note because usually, it's a false alarm. We finished up our cereal and began the safety precautions.
We stuffed towels underneath the doors and went into the bathroom. Then after what felt like hours of waiting in the bathtub, the sirens came on. Then the sirens came on and a mere ten minutes later the winds started to pick up, but nothing too harsh at the moment.
