I live in a world where normal is your abnormal witches yep wolves yep vampires yep vampires got them to. They take up the majority of the population as well as human books and fairytales even some nightmares. Its not like their bad there just...protective witches are provoked wolves are anger controlled and vampires have a never ending strerio type of they want to drink you alive. All of us live among humans, live in an apartment in a busy part of new York where lights are bright and sound is everywhere.
We all get along nicely but cross breading is illegal and thats where I come in with my durty red wavy hair and green eyes. See my dad is a wolf and my mums a vampire which makes me half and half and illegal. But I chose to be my human side until eighteen and cause of my dad's side I don't have to drink blood like my mum to stay alive I can eat normal stuff. So basically I'm human superman well woman. If anyone found out I would be killed on the spot. I can't even tell my best friend with this because she'd die to along with my parents for a) being together and b) having me.
The nearest school is a train ride away near the outside of the city which is a private school mixed with humans and supernatural. My best friend Miles goes there to but she's one of the humans she lives closer to the school too so I take the train alone which get boring real quick. A couple of boys from my school board and sit on the long seats next to each other all in matching black and red uniforms with bright white shirts all of them smiling and laughing.
I seem to have catched ones eye he had black hair and blue eyes but when we meet he looks straight back to his friends, I have no interest in them so I pull out my headphones and plug them in, what do people say by sam fincher and demi lovato comes on when I get a tap on my shoulder its the black haired blue eyed boy who had been looking at me earlier when him and his pals came in. I remove my headphone from one ear.
"Um hello!" I say looking at the semi nervous semi confident boy.
He cleared his throat and looks back at his friends wh smile widley and cheer him on with thumbs up before looking back at me "hey...ya know your pretty, pretty cute and well..." I cut him off with a sorry I have a boyfriend line while straightening out my black skirt, the rubs his neck and looses all confidence and apologies before running back to his friends who are no longer smiling nor have their thumbs up. I resumed my original position waiting for my stop to come up.
I lived in new York my entire life but never heard of the school red water academy until my mum became the history teacher she moved me there so she could keep an eye on me if anyone found out about me, she liked to do so without my consent but I get it she wanted to protect me just as any mum would for there child the same with dad he had the pack to protect us even if he was just an omega.
I met Miles my first day at red water and we've been friends ever since. When I first met her she would get into trouble alot in class and start fights with other kids which alarmed me as not everyone was human so she ended up in the hospital alot more leaving me to settle everything gladly now she's calmed down as time went on. But when it really counted she would do anything for anyone she cared about and thats just really how we stayed friends.
When I arrive at school I'm bomb barded by Miles screaming at me in the ear with her brown hair waving around "there's a fight!" Her arms shot up as she laughed in joy I was just glad it wasn't her for once so I joined in with her and we both raced to see who it was. It must have been two supernaturals because of the amount of teachers there were. See when its two humans teachers will lack and some would even watch when its one human and one not there's a few more to make sure the humans are safe and calm down the supernatural without exposing them but when its two supernaturals all gloves come off and teachers are everywhere. The fight ended just as me and Miles got there and everyone was sent to class early.
Seemed like there was a new boy because I'd never seen him before he had ash blonde hair and brown eyes and he was seat and no one sits in my seat because Miles would yell and scream at them until they moved but I couldn't bring myself to tell them to move though which is not like me so I sit in the seat the front and turn back at Miles who's giving the new boy evil eyes I laugh and turn back to find the teacher starting the lesson of math. I waited outside class for Miles as she got caught on her phone and started screaming at the new boy for sitting in my seat when Rose came up and says in her usual sweet little voice.
"Hey Arabella did you hear?" I turned my head to the side.
"Hey Rose hear what?" I answer her intreaged of what I'm supposed to have heard.
"Theres a prince, a vampire prince." She squealed in a high pitched whisper that hurt my ears.
"How they only come when somethings wrong!" I start to feel panic rise in my stomach continuing to my throat my palms turn sweaty and I felt sick and hot.
"Well apparently he just wants to have a normal year and his dad granted it well I wish him luck with that because he probably won't get it." With that she was gone skipping down the hall filled with crowd of children as her blond locks bounced with her. Rose knew about the supernatural world because of her dad whos a wolf even though she's a human sometimes it happens and her mum human so there's that it just means that she had the most dominant gene. Miles snaps me out of my thought by bumping me with her bag signaling to go.
By lunch was in all three of my morning classes and always sat in my seat 'like what the hell.' But if he really was a prince then I would need to stay away or try my hardest to as miles keeps yelling at him 'yeah not a good idea.' Note to self : tell Miles to stop yelling at the new boy. I say mentally, she isn't here right now as she got herself a detention in the hopes of missing her trip to the dentist only to have it moved to lunch. I found it funny really she had tried so hard as well. She had waited until we had mr aylly who gave detentions like birthdays and he was real exra stressed out today because of exams in upper years so all Miles really had to do was just not sit down in her seat instead she decided to push the new boy over and start yelling at him again for the sum what hundredth time. So sir gave her the detention she wanted but moved it to lunch because he knew after school wouldn't bother her. Lunch does cause she always has the possibility of missing a fight or lunch its self. In the end she was cursing him to the moon and back.
A male voice clearing his throat i look to find nun other than the boy I'm trying now failing to avoid. "Ur hi..?" I say cousiously.
"Hello" he returns "your friend is quite blaring." He says with a little smirk on his face.
"Sorry." I say a little offended and apologetic. "I mean she's a very outgoing person and you sat in my seat splitting us up and yeah so what if she yells." I say with a heap of air.
He frowns "im sorry if I have offended you I didn't mean to." I now feel sorry again.
"So mr prince what brings you here?" I ask in an attempt to change the subject. His eye widen in confusion "oh no you must be mistaken I'm not the prince." He is he points to another boy with blond hair crowded by girls "I'm his right hand or rather his friend. I'm Noah."
