Good Plot & Intricately Written!

"Thanks for writing this. I loved your style. I am no qualified critic but here are my 2 cents. I will start with the negative so that I can sign off on a positive note :). The only negative was in the plot which I do not personally like, i.e. the ending and where Vidya goes away with Sankari. I mean isnt there any poetic justice or irony that you would like to give out? Ok, Thats the negative. Here are the positives. The way you have brought out the momentary feelings and the emotions that a character is undergoing is just brilliant! The suspense factor was just about right (which made me go on a uninterrupted reading spree from chapter 10 straight to the end). The differentiating factor of the male psyche (nataraj for example) and the female psyche(Vasantha for example) was well written at various spots in the narrative. The next thing is the way you have tastefully handled the erotic situations, which was just subtle and not going overboard and making it something that was essential for the story line. Finally I really liked the way you have portrayed the progressive mindset of women according to the generation, from a Vasantha to a Sankari to a Bhavani. Overall it was a couple of hours well spent. Will i share this with my friends? You bet I will. Should you seriously consider selling such stuff in Amazon or as paperbacks? Yes you should (i am assuming that you are not, if you are, please excuse my ignorance). So thanks again Meera Srikant and my best wishes to you - Your new fan!"

A gripping story

"The story is full of twists and turns. I read it in a single go. It was as if I was watching a movie. Lively scenes and the fact that the characters were Indians made it true to the settings. Just loved it."

Twists all the way.

"The frame of the story has a beautiful structure on which the narration is spun with twists and turns to look forward with lots of expectations about the coming chapters. There are many characters in the story line, all woven into intricate style to speak the story in its own way.The protagonist is a pretty dancer who had sacrificed her own mother to her cousin in the beginning only to lose her husband and finally her own child also to the villaneous character who happens to be a woman. Many times,it makes one wonder if such things can happen in real life time, but the author's writing skill has painted the most sensitive issues in a style that makes one feel and live that moment in real times. There lies her trade mark. One would want the heroine of the story to settle down to a peaceful life at least inthe end as her mother in the story wishes. But a surprise awaits us and why she decides so is truly justified.Meera Srikanth should write more such novels in the years to come."

Mr.

"Found the plot quite ensuring.... the initial pace is trifle dragging, assume that it may required to establish the characters and give a glimpse into their mindsets The travails between the zeal to be perfect in passion and balance it with a daily chore is well brought out... About Meera Srkant's writing style... it exhibits her flair to be short and sweet devoid of flamboyance... The author effortlessly mingles with the psychotic atmospheres of the characters to help visulaising while reading... Loved reading it."

Could be better

"Could use a lot of descriptions, devices, a more engaging sort of writing. Loved the plot though, but the narration style needs a lot of work."
