Jihyo PART 1

The rain drips down the window of the cold and humid train window and I lean my head against it. I hope I didn’t make the wrong decision. Running away from my sister wasn’t the best idea but I least I know where I’m going, I have been to the city before but never to see anyone in particular, my sister and I grew up deep in the countryside and never really met many people so I have to admit, I’m nervous.

“Excuse me, do you by any chance know this person?” a voice snaps me out of my busy mind and I turn to see a boy had stopped by my seat, holding up a missing poster, of a boy with dark green eyes and short brown hair, held up by a blue patterned bandana.

“No sorry.” I whisper. I don’t want any people staring at me, and this boy’s voice is loud.

he looks disappointed. “Argh! this is so irritating!” he runs his hand through his brown hair.

“Is... he your brother?” I ask just before he turns to leave, I feel bad for him. If it were my sister missing, I would do anything to find her. Not considering the fact that I’m running away from her.

“Oh, yeah, he went missing a couple of days ago.”

I give him one of my usual pathetic smiles, “I’m sorry I can’t help you, but I can hand out some flyers in the city if you like?”

He lifts an eyebrow. “I’m not sure how big you think the city is.”

“It can’t be that big.” I say, frowning.

I can’t help but stare at his handsome face.

“Ha! well-,” he is cut off by a sudden lurch as the train suddenly halts to a screeching stop, and we both go flying forwards right smack into the wall.

I chose to sit right at the front so when the train arrived at the city station, I could be the first on off.

But I know now it was a stupid choice.

The thwack my head made with the wall was sickening and I black out for a moment.

When my eyes open, my head hurts so much and I can’t see straight, stars crowd my vison and everything starts to dim.

No...

Someone help me...

Trains need seatbelts...

Someone grabs my hand and the last thing I see, is the boy who had just been holding up the flyer to me just a moment ago.

“I’m sorry I got you into this... please forgive me,” he says.

Everything seems to fade away.
