Welcome to Jonesville ...
"..A sleepy little town where nothing much happens outside of the local diner. Cahdla, the attractive server who works at the diner doesn’t much mind though. She finds the daily routine a comfort. Unlike her sister, she is not looking for romance and finds it convenient to live at home with her parents. But that was before the stranger bought the house next door. His name is Lars and he visits the diner where Cahdla works at on his move-in day. Who is this crazy guy? Cahdla wonders as she serves him and his friend spaghetti that they both eat with a spoon?!? Cahdla doesn’t know. All she knows is that she likes the appreciative glances, the good looking Lars keeps throwing her way. It just might be time Cahdla thinks to herself for the sleepy little town of Jonesville to finally be shaken up. For starters this was well written. Present tense writing is difficult to master without falling occasionally into past tense. (I know from personal experience. I’m not even sure how well I handled present tense in this review. Lol!) But Jacque C writes it beautifully. There is also no jumping head narratives and the story doesn’t open with an alarm clock. These are all things I fully appreciate in a story. Lars is certainly a fascinating character. Part of me is wondering if he’s an alien. I had to my pause in my reading to write this review, but I plan to read further just to find out. An interesting tale about an unexpected and unusual lover. "

"There are only four chapters posted so far, but it's very good. I like how Lars thinks how everyone is beneath him, it kind of reminds me of Mr Darcy from early on in Pride and Prejudice. I find this intriguing because of the mystery behind Peter and Lars, I want to know more about them! Keep up the good work, Sofia."
Intriguing start!
"Review written after three chapters: I really like how this story is shaping up. The introduction of two mysterious men who clearly have some sort of plan in place is a good counter-balance to the small town friendliness of everything else. I definitely want to hear more about them and see what exactly it is that they are planning!"

There could be explicit details added to it to make the story even more interesting, otherwise the plot is amazing and everything is expressed giving a clear idea of what's going on."
