The word Mojibyon swells in my mind bigger than baked dough mocking me of my robed existence. For years I have been living a life of other species.. No matter how hard I try to wrap my head around reality this feels ridiculous.0
"I have to say, you being silent was definitely not expected of you."
" Your mind cooks up more than I expected..." my voice was just above whisper but whatever he said made sense, I have been questioning my abilities since childhood, how would I just know things without being told, how I could set fire just by a mere thought, how I felt emotions, saw aura made much more sense now.

"Oh God! I almost believed you.." I can't stop laughing at my own stupidity. How can I ever believe such utter bullshit and forget that he's a writer for Godsake. He cooks tales for a living. I wait for him to laugh in return only to see his serious face in play.
" Dad come on stop it already!" I pull on his arms to let off this act though something in me was wary of it being the reality. I was never able to read him, only if I could.

I stare at him in disbelief. Damn my habit.... I just can't stop myself it's like I have to tell someone only thing is I can't or the fact that I don't want to, always end up scribbling on whatever I see infront..

I retort frustration ebbing my mind, he was not supposed to know, the lady in my dreams said to hide it from everyone, she said he'd be hurt if he knows that's stupid but I happen to believe my dreams more than reality.

"Yes I did say we." he answers nonchalantly. I stare at him speechless he can read my mind!
"Yes very well thats why I don't even need to sneak on you. I know what you're upto on daily basis."
He's bluffing but how would he answer to what I was thinking?!
"Because I know what you're thinking." he again answers my unspoken thoughts.
He smiles and pulls me into a hug
"Li, you have to understand whatever I am telling you before it's too late."
"What do you mean by before its too late ?" I ask anxiously
"That's not for you to worry about. Trust me like you always do and all will be alright like it always does." he says kissing the top of my head.
"Are you a Mojibiyon too? What even is that anyway you just told me that a Mojibyon ain't human then what? Even cokroaches ain't human... You see what I mean to say right!" I fast talk everything questions buzzing in my head.
He laughs "I know what you mean and I'll always know. A Mojibyon is entirely different species. They look exactly like humans but ain't anything like them. You have that beautiful pattern on your back and calves that ain't any tattoo like I always told you. -"
"So I didn't force you to get me a tattoo when child and you mean to say its not a tattoo but my skin's own design! I always knew it! I was just so confused so as to why would you listen to a 5 yr old throwing tantrums for getting tattoo but then again I thought you were just not mature enough for being a dad " I get a light fist bump on my head.
" Every Mojibyon has a unique pattern on their back and calves. It will change though once you find your coniux. "

" Ahhh that's for later... "he dismisses me urging me towards kitchen for dinner. Even my appetite took flight.

"See you ain't dreaming.." he provides an explanation.
"Liora, listen dear there are things I fought with everyday to keep you safe, to let you live.. I am no Mojibyon and there's just so much I can do to keep you unharmed you need to know everything.."
"Wait if you ain't a Mojiyoji whatever then what are you?" I ask confused
"All you need to know is I am your father and will always be no matter what. " he smiles and kisses my forehead.
