I've been thinking about this book a lot lately, and what it means. Basically, it is idealist fun. The book is pure escapism. But it also deals with real problems people face in their heads.

A month after I turned 17, I moved to a different country. That's around the time I wrote this. I was scared, confused, felt like no one understood me (I wasn't a secret princess, obviously). And writing this gave me an avenue to channel what I felt. These past couple of years, some readers have mentioned that they relate to the MC, that she makes them feel seen. I absolutely love that. Cassandra is messy, she's kinda weird, and she's just trying to figure out her place in the world. But she's trying her best. And like me, her love language is words of affirmation 💙

So thank you to everyone who gave me the support to complete this. And to my new readers, I hope you find solace in Cassie, and you can aknowledge her growth over the book series. :)
