October 1, 2080

Already into the first quarter of freshman year, the leaves are already falling off trees. Darkness falls earlier and the weather is chillier.

The bell had just rung and everyone was in their seats waiting for the teacher to come through the door. Everyone could hear her footsteps from outside the classroom. She opens the door and she walks towards the middle of the room. Behind her, was an unfamiliar student with his head down, his black fringe covering his eyes.

“Good morning everyone.”

“Good morning Miss Ila.” The class responded.

“Everyone, please let’s welcome our new classmate, Kim Taehyung.”

Everyone had their eyes on the new kid. All the other students were pinpointing at every aspect of his body. Eye piercing through him as if he was a freak show. Jungkook could hear assumptions and gossiping through his ears.

“Please Taehyung go take a seat.” The teacher ordered.

He places his bag down onto the desk and slowly sits down. He still hasn’t looked up yet. Jungkook sighs as he assumes he’s probably scared of being the new kid.

Poor dude.

Jungkook taps the edge of this desk.

“Hey,”

Taehyung looks at Jungkook with a shy face.

“...... H-hi.” He stutters out.

Jungkook gives him a warm smile.

“I’m Jungkook! If you have any questions about anything, you can ask me.”

The words Jungkook said must’ve triggered something, as Taehyung started smiling widely.

“I’m Taehyung, thanks I will.”
