Letters from my father

"I truly enjoyed this book. It was really well written. This has been a book, that I felt like actually leaving a review. I felt this on a personal level. I lost my dad 6 years ago, he was my biggest supporter and confidant. The story is so heartfelt and shows the true love of being a parent, love of close friendship. Just how life just happens. Now, my father was a hard working dad, not one to write letters. When he had something to say, you would listen. A man of few words, very straightforward. My biggest regret was not allowing him to say all he needed to say....he had cancer and he was very agitated. Went into hospice and kept saying I have so much to tell you. I just told him to rest, we would talk in the morning. He never said another word. A week later he was gone. So I felt this story to my core. Thank you for writing this. It was beautiful!"

Letters From My Father

"Such a touching sweet story. It takes you through tears and sorrow, love and laughter. Sometimes all at once. I enjoyed your well defined characters who were very realistic in how they communicated with each other. Throughout the sorrow and tears is an undertone of love that never ends🌹"

Letters From My Father

"This story took my heart and mind on a rollercoaster. The way the author describes the scenes and how the characters are projected are so superb that I can play a movie in my head. I won't be surprised if one day I'll actually see this as an actual movie, and if that does happen I'd pay to watch it. Thank you, this story has been one of the best I have read lately."

Mmmmmmmm

"The plot is unique and the characters are real. I like the idea of the plot traveling between time eras. Especially as I was also through a lovely romance in the 60s. Have now been married 57 years and still going strong."

Amazing Story!

"A little slow in the beginning, but once the tide came in, I was caught up in it, and couldn't escape. I read it through without stopping, literally couldn't put it down. Above all, the ending was very satisfying."

Hooked

"When I started the first chapter, it gave an impression that this story would have a simple plot, but the later chapters proved me wrong. Bit by bit revelations were made, those that defy my ideas of a plot twist. Dialogues of each character should be improved to vary their personality."

Lovely book

"A lovely one time read. It is a slow paced novel with not really any hooks. YET IT'S THE KIND OF BOOK YOUNGSTERS NEED TO READ FOR ITS LIFE LESSONS N AN ADULT MOSTLY PREFER THIS KIND OF BOOK CAUSE IT CAN BE ADJUSTED BETWEEN THE SHEDULE. if you ever print it do tell me about it"

Great story line

"This is an age old story, but with excellent plot twists that I didn't see coming. I truly liked how the story slowly, but steadily revealed the secrets. There were secrets I didn't expect, which kept me wanting to read. I always love a happy ending, with a little bit of real life mixed in. The realism of illness and death helps curb the fairy-tale feel. It feels like this story could have happened in real life. As I was reading it was difficult to ignore typos and auto-correct words that were wrong. A quick proof reading would help immensely. If you are going to use a few obscure vocabulary words then there should be more, so they don't stand out as much. Overall, a good story line, a good length and a great pacing for pleasure reading. I would recommend this story to others."
