Double Surprise
It is a sunny day,the sky is blue with a twitch of a summer breeze that is most welcomed.I knocked off early today to surprise my husband whom I love so very much,of course I had to beg the principal to let me go early he owed me a favour anyway.Mr Masilo our darling principal of North high school, he'll be retiring as soon as his replacement is found.He will surely be missed,I do not envy the person who will be filling that position.
Our school is one of the top schools in South Africa thanks to our principal and of course us the teachers,there are few rotten apples but not enough to spoil our reputation.Let me introduce myself,my name is Palesa Letsoalo 28 years of age and I've been in this teaching industry for three fun and challenging years.I got married at very young age of 19 years old and we have been happy ever since.
My husband is sweet, caring and handsome.Tall dark skin,big light brown cat's eyes and he works out...did I mention he's super handsome? Anyway he's an accountant so I am well taken cared of.He often asked me to leave my job and become a house wife but I cannot imagine myself as a housewife.Both of our parents are already deceased so technically we got each other,I love how he picks me up with no effort at all and how playfully he is with me.
Everyday feels like a new day to us and there's has never been a dull moment.He likes to say that am petite,he likes how short I am.Yes I am short let's get that one out of the way, hazel big eyes,with curvy round body which I love by the way.I have long afro blond hair which I also love.
I made a dash quickly to the mall to a lingerie shop to pick up my order.Red wine strappy lace set I want to wear for him,I took my summer coat dress in the morning and my ruby red heels.Shit is about to go down when I get home,I made a stop at a local market to get a sweet red wine and some chocolates it's all about red tonight we repainting the sky red.Honestly Sando has been blowing hot and cold lately,so I think this will do us both good and reignite the spark between us.
I went to my car to pack everything except the lingerie,I took the coat dress and heels and made my way to the bathrooms at the mall so that I can change.I had already taken a shower after my gym session,I got ready and did few touches of make up and pulled my hair into a spongy bun.I was starting to get nervous like this is my first time doing this,the goosebumps of butterflies.I had to take a few deep breaths before I looked myself in the mirror and damn I look hot.
Few ladies came in the bathroom and gasped when they saw me,some where praising me and some whistled at me rendering me shy.I have to get out of her before I melt from all this heat of compliments but I wasn't surprised at all,I know I am beautiful and I tell myself that every single day.Not only outside but inside too.
Everything is done I am ready to surprise my man,it was almost 6:30pm when I parked the car in the garage.The lights were on which meant that he was home, usually he comes to open the gate for me but today he didn't.Okay...I went inside unlocking the door which was another strange thing but I overlooked it like I said things hasn't been well hence the surprise.
"Honey am home!" I called out to him unbuttoning my dress leaving it on the floor,I went up the stairs because I didn't get my usually sweet response "Sando honey?" I called out again, he's probably sleeping I thought to myself.
I stopped infront of our bedroom door and I heard voices,my world came tumbling down when I heard giggles of those three hyenas in the Lion King movie but still I kept reassuring myself but the little voice inside of me knew better.I opened the door to my nightmare,my very own colleague in bed with my loving husband,it felt like the air was being sucked out of my lungs.I couldn't scream,shout not throw insults at them,I just stared at the scene before my eyes tears streaming down on their free will.
"Baby...Pale I can explain it's not what you think" I just stared at him with amusement on my face,my ears couldn't even begin to comprehend what he just said.He shakes me when he saw I wasn't going to say anything due to shock, I watched how she rolled out of our bed naked as the day she was born.With the little bit of strength left in me,I pulled myself together and went to the guest room where my spare of clothing was.
I got in my tracksuits,it was hot but I didn't care much.I went outside the room and there he was in a boxer,he probably followed me to the guest room.Still begging me to listen to him but I paid him no mind as I walked right pass him stepping on his toes purposely because he was in my way.I went downstairs still not saying anything because I was afraid to utter a word, I was afraid to burst into fits of tears crying my eyes out for this cheating yeti...no he doesn't deserve it.
"Palesa baby wait,you know I love you this was just a weak of a moment thing" I almost passed out with laughter this time "Has my baby turned into a comedian perhaps?" I ask with sarcasm laced in my voice.
"Look it just happened,she came in and...and everything happened so fast baby next thing we in bed and all...damn! Baby am so sorry please we are stronger than this" he went on his knees as I opened my chocolates and a bottle of wine.I watched as he cried wolf on my lap while taking a sip of wine "Get off me,you make me wet...and not in a nice way" well that got his attention and man! Did he not try to use it to his advantage,the audacity of this boy!.
"That's it right there,you haven't been feeling me anyway.You pushed me straight into the arms of Noli, it's your-..."
That did it,that unzipped my lips faster than the word fast "You got the nerve Boy!" I spit out the last part with so much venom in my voice and continued "Do you even know how many marriages has she broken? How many men at work bedded her? How she boosted at the office with her friends that she can get you if she wants? And I, like a damn idiotic wife stood up for you.I said keep dreaming baby girl my husband will never gaze at your direction".
That broke my facade, water works, Victoria falls...that's all I remember before I fainted.
