Introduction

Introduction

War is always the result of actions. The war that would follow will cost the lives of up to 100 million civilians and military. The people in this war are inspired by freedom, greed, and power. To have the power to control the end of a dynasty. With this, the attempt to unite results in this catastrophic war. The Koreans had been at war since 1950, but had an armistice since 1953. In 2025, a defector who was of top military ranking from the North, formerly known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had defected to Seoul. The North demanded his return to Pyongyang, which would probably kill this man in their labor camps, which the defector knew. North Korea gave Seoul four days to give them their defector, and unharmed, to await trial in the North. Seoul refused, saying it was his right to stay in the South. Four days passed, and Pyongyang had not received their request. On June 5th, 2025, North Korea decided to use a strike on South Korea. They launched a nuclear bomb the size of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, heading to Seoul. Kim Jong-un then ordered the bombardment of the border with his thousands of artillery pieces, including Seoul. As the bomb landed in Seoul, the bomb killed 10,550,200 of the 10,800,350 people living in Seoul. The president of South Korea miraculously lived, and got to a hideout within the city outskirts. That day was formally then known as “The Dark Day.” News spread of the nuclear bomb being dropped, and the catastrophic loss of life in Seoul was amazing. North Korea would then declare war on the South, saying it was time for a reunification, and the North would lead it. The world was shocked by this action, and quickly the South, heavily stunned by this attack, declared war, and so did the UN. But the UN would not actually fight until 2027, when North Korea drove towards Busan, encircling the Southern government. In the spring of 2027, the North was gradually pushed back from the encirclement, and driven back to the Yalu River bordering China. China then declared it would assist the North, and would help the North survive. In May, the war fronts shifted, going for the Northern lead Chinese offense. The North and China finally broke through the 38th parallel, and by January 2028, had managed to make it to Busan. China then broke into a civil war, and they couldn't focus on a war that was not involving China. In February, the Allies broke the encirclement once again, started to regain ground. The Northern army was crumbling without China, troops were being annihilated. In a desperate attempt to keep the North alive, and with power, the North used a reserve garrison to keep their hopes alive, so Kim Jong-Un ordered a force of 1.5 million to attempt to take China, and use the military to hold off the UN and the Americans. However in 14 days this would fail. The Chinese private army would drive them out, and would be the final dagger for the North. The Northern army would be encircled, and forced to fight the final battle out in Pyongyang. The North Korean army was able to hold out from April 20th to May 3rd, losing the final 800,000 men and at the end, General Hu-Ku and 2 others killed Kim Jong-Un to end the war at Midnight on May 3rd, 2028. Here is the story of General Hu-Ku.
