Part 1
By the time you’re reading this, I’ll not be born yet. I am writing this message in the year 57’012. I am sure you have a ton of questions, but just know that sending you this, was the last option and attempt to save my current world and for your people to save your very far descendants.
As long as I am still writing this at my present it means that nothing changed and nothing was saved, at least regarding what already happened, because if your people or even the people in the next thousands of years from your present took any actions I wouldn’t be writing this message right now, So this means that my efforts and attempts to send this back in time either failed, went unnoticed or even if it reached you and your people tried saving us, it didn’t result in anything successful.
First of all, let me introduce myself, my name is Dr. Ruben Louis and I am 125 years old, but don’t let this make you think that I am an old man writing you this message while my teeth are falling and my hands are shaking. I spent 100 years in Hypersleep because I am simply put by my government as a “Criminal”, While I consider myself as a curious scientist. Yes, I committed something illegal, but I didn’t cause harm to anyone, in my present many things are considered illegal and we are allowed to do very few actions that will not lead to being sentenced to Hypersleep. I am sure you are wondering why criminals are put in Hypersleep instead of jails, well because the judges here consider jail as a waste of resources and space because the world right now is fighting for things like stable food and water incomes and the population growth is going out of hand so having your own comfortable space is very rare and only a few filthy rich people have it right now. To put you in context of how overpopulation is a serious problem, let me tell you that the world governments are struggling to find shelter for people on two damn planets, Earth and Mars. It took your people to finally call Mars home a few thousand years to terraform the red planet and turn it into a habitable one. Millions of people now are born there and consider themselves one hundred percent Martians. So this means that the judges think spending a dozen years in sleep is more cruel and efficient than being locked in a room and provided food and warmth, I can’t disagree with that. Being sentenced to Hypersleep means that you’ll lose everyone you love and everything you were working to achieve, all your parents, siblings, partners, and children will be dead by the time you wake up, and eventually, you’ll feel a weird urge to follow them.
I was sentenced to Hypersleep for attempting to do a genetic engineering manipulation experiment. I tried to create life out of absolute energy, capsuling and giving it a biological humanoid shell. I unfortunately failed, if I succeeded I would’ve been considered a genius scientist and been showered with gold and medals but since I failed and wasted a ton of money and resources in this, I was considered a mad monster trying to do the work of God.
The person reading this and I have very few things in common. My world will look alien to you and your world will look alien to me. I’m not sure who this message will reach but I know that this message is being sent approximately between the years 2000 and 2100. This inaccuracy is because we still can’t control time travel perfectly yet and it is considered extremely hazardous for many reasons, we can only send things back into the past with no way of getting those things back to us, we only experiment with objects and lab animals, we never tried it with humans because the experiments showed any biological body put in the experiment will be encountered with huge amounts of dangerous radiation and will face extreme body disfiguration. Our people reached time travel when a few scientists who are considered superstars now attempted to control gravitational fields manipulation that led to distorting the linear flow of time and the fabric of spacetime which created a small portal that enabled us to send objects through it, and the targeted time can be controlled by using some mathematical calculations that allowed us to control the vibration of the gravitational waves which permitted us to pick an approximation of the year that we want to connect with.
We know many things about your era because of your advanced record keeping, you made it easier to store information using hardware and internet clouds so we studied a lot about your era, our education systems focus a lot on ancient civilizations and learning from them how to improve our current way of living, many of my people cherish the old era, or how we call it PWT “Pre-War Time”.
After 10 thousand years your life will start changing drastically. Nations will fall and others will rise, kings and people claiming prophethood will show up, some will follow them and some will reject them, languages and religions will fade and change, only one main language will be used globally, that’s why I’ll be using an ancient languages translator to transform this message to your understandable language. These rotations won’t happen in a blink of an eye, it will take hundreds of years to even notice a small change.
The most important event that happened in that time is the rise of two new religions, “Children of Attollo ″ and “Paradiso ″. Two People Claimed prophethood for these religions, “Auctus ″ leading the″Attollians “ and “Aureus ” raising Paradiso. These two men have been dead since a long time ago but the people still believe in them blindly because it is claimed that Auctus and Aureus performed miracles in front of their own eyes, for these two religions to be mainstream and gain billions of followers in the two planets. This wasn’t magical by any means because now, this event is the most destruction bringer event that humanity has ever seen in the two planets, a huge war started because of the conflicts of these two religions, millions of people lost their lives, it’s been going for 50 thousand years and it slowed down in the meantime just because of the intensity of the cold climate we’re having which is considered an ice age by your terms, current people call this war, “The Forever War ” or “War of the Two Gods ”, it’s not a heroic war or a war fought with honor, the bloodshed is is being done by a series of terrorist attacks targeting the opposite religions compounds, they focus on the most populated ones, many rich people and governments took one of the opposite sides and including themselves in this eternal battle, they hid their personal interests under the cover of fighting for the righteous religion, they have other motifs such as politics, gaining territorial and industrial power, improving their economy and massacring people to reduce the planets population, and the advancments in war technology made it much easier for them to preform these attacks in a mass scale.
